  • Patent number: 11543424
Abstract: A manual-electronic pipetting device for pipetting a medium. The pipetting device includes a controller, a manually displaceable actuating element, at least one piston for aspirating and discharging the medium, a motor for driving the at least one piston in response to an actuation and/or displacement of the actuating element, at least one sensor for determining a displacement of the actuating element, and a data storage. The controller determines a pipetting protocol based on at least one sensor signal of the at least one sensor during a displacement of the actuating element, the controller further storing the pipetting protocol in the data storage, the pipetting protocol including data records indicative of a position and a speed of the at least one piston during the displacement of the actuating element.

Abstract: A manual-electronic pipetting device for pipetting a medium is provided. The pipetting device comprises a controller, a manually displaceable actuating element, at least one piston for aspirating and discharging the medium, a motor for driving the at least one piston in response to an actuation and/or displacement of the actuating element, at least one sensor for determining a displacement of the actuating element, and a data storage. The controller is configured to determine a pipetting protocol based on at least one sensor signal of the at least one sensor during a displacement of the actuating element, wherein the controller is further configured to store the pipetting protocol in the data storage, the pipetting protocol comprising data records indicative of a position and a speed of the at least one piston during the displacement of the actuating element.

  • Patent number: 8685342
Abstract: A device for receiving and dispensing liquids has a plurality of piston-cylinder units (1, 1?, 1?) which are respectively arranged on a piston plate (2) and a cylinder plate (3). The liquid is received and dispensed by displacing the pistons (1?) in the cylinders (1?) by changing the distance between the plates (2, 3), perpendicularly to the plate planes, by means of a drive mechanism (6) and a plate guiding system. The volume can be determined by an upper abutment (4) and a lower abutment (5), at least one of said abutments being regulatable by a regulating means (8). The device is suitable for handling precise volumes of a larger number of piston-cylinder units (1, 1?, 1?) in a technically simple manner.

  • Publication number: 20070221684
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for receiving and dispensing liquids, the device comprising a plurality of piston-cylinder units (1, 1?, 1?) which are respectively arranged on a piston plate (2) and a cylinder plate (3). According to the invention, the liquid is received and dispensed by displacing the pistons (1?) in the cylinders (1?) by changing the distance between the plates (2, 3), perpendicularly to the plate planes, by means of a drive mechanism (6) and a plate guiding system. The volume can be determined by an upper abutment (4) and a lower abutment (5), at least one of said abutments being regulatable by a regulating means (8). The aim of the invention is to render one such device suitable for handling precise volumes of a larger number of piston-cylinder units (1, 1?, 1?) in a technically simple manner.

  • Patent number: 5948362
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for arranging a plurality of objects (1) on a support (4), the objects (1) being placed in layers (3) in apertured plates (5). These plates (5) are in turn stacked one above the other in a magazine (6) so as to save space. The respective lowermost apertured plate (5) containing objects (1) is released by the disengagement of a retaining element (7). The device is configured such that it is easy to handle and the magazines can accommodate a large number of layers (3) since the retaining element (7) can be disengaged by an actuating device which can be manipulated from the exterior of the magazine (6).
