Abstract: A gutter installation tool for positioning on a gutter and detachably holding a ferrule in position within the gutter while also detachably holding a nail external to the gutter, the nail being in longitudinal alignment with the ferrule, thus eliminating the need for the gutter installer to hold the ferrule and the nail when installing the gutter. After the nail enters the structure to which the gutter is being insatlled, the gutter installation tool is detached from the gutter, and the nail is driven to its final position.

Abstract: A mechanically adjustable articulator for mounting poured dental casts used in the fabrication of dentures without the use of mounting plaster, the articulator having central locating pins for entering drilled apertures in the base of the casts, and further having adjustable retaining screws which enter drilled apertures in the perimeter of the casts to retain the casts in fixed position after which the casts may be adjusted to any desired relationship with each other; and a method for drilling and mounting the casts, including a drill jig useful for such purpose.

Abstract: A prosthetic horseshoe for use in the treatment of the affliction known as chronic laminitis in which the coffin bone in a horse's foot rotates from its normal position. The prosthetic horseshoe has an adjustable pin designed to rotate the coffin bone back to its normal position and hold it there during treatment of the affliction.

Abstract: A dental articulator for mounting and adjusting paired dental casts; said articulator having at least one protruding locating pin entering an aperture in the base of each dental cast and having fastening means other than conventional mounting plaster for releasably retaining the dental casts in their mounted position; and further having means for adjusting the upper dental cast in centric anatomical relationship with the lower dental cast.

Abstract: A dental articulator adapted for supporting jigs having an extending screw which engages a female thread in a button embedded in the base of a stone dental cast as opposed to the conventional method of supporting such dental casts by means of plaster. The apparatus and method also provides a means by which the dental cast can be removed for further laboratory processing with the assurance that it can be removed and remounted in the articulator into the precise position and relationship of the initial mounting, and also provides a novel method for embedding a button into a dental cast by forming a cavity and pouring a cold setting material such as plastic into which a screw is inserted while the poured button is in the fluid form before final setting.

Abstract: An apparatus, for measuring head accelerations of a test subject, having a mouthpiece which includes metal clips for securing the mouthpiece to the upper teeth of the test subject. Three accelerometers are secured to a mounting block which is attached to the mouthpiece. The three accelerometers have their active axis located along three orthogonal axis through the mounting block. The mounting block, the accelerometers and the accelerometer leads are embedded in an electrically insulating material.

Abstract: A dental articulator for mounting stone dental casts by means of a screw engaging a threaded aperture in the base of the dental casts in lieu of the prior method of mounting the casts by means of plaster. The threaded apertures may be formed directly into the casts, or by the preferred method of embedding plastic threaded buttons into the stone casts. This mounting method permits a more rapid mounting of the dental casts in the articulator and also permits a very rapid removal and remounting of the casts to their precise prior occlusion position.
