  • Publication number: 20130220359
Abstract: A comb for styling hair has an elongate spine, a plurality of tines extending from the spine and guide means for use in association with a scissors or a clippers. The guide means acts as a guide for the scissors or clippers to slide along and support when both are used together by a user when dressing or cutting the hair of a subject. The guide means has a rail extending along a portion of the length of the spine, wherein the rail acts as the guide for the scissors or clippers. In another embodiment, the guide means extends transversely from the spine to form a shelf-like structure gradually extending from the surface which is generally transverse to the longitudinal axis of the spine. The guide means are either integrally formed or are detachably mountable along the spine of a comb.
