    Abstract: An eyeshield for protecting an eye of a domestic animal or human from sunlight, insects and dust while permitting vision is formed of an upper light opaque lid covering portion joined to a lower eye protecting portion formed of a light and moisture permeable but insect and dust impermeable portion. A portion of the shield extends outwardly along the line of attachment between the upper and lower portions, thus acting as a sunshade and the novel sunshade is formed so as to have a convex shape outward from the eye when worn.
