  • Patent number: 11710957
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus for redundant control of active fuses for battery pack safety is provided, comprising a battery; an electrical load coupled to the battery via a fuse capable of being activated by an electrical signal; a sensor configured to sense a short circuit condition at the electrical load and output an analog sensor signal; an analog-to-digital converter configured to sample the analog sensor signal and output a digital sensor signal; a microcontroller configured to detect the short circuit condition at the electrical load based on the digital sensor signal, and, during normal operation, to output a first electrical signal to activate the fuse after detecting the short circuit condition at the electrical load; and an analog circuit configured to operate independently of the microcontroller to receive the analog sensor signal and output a second electrical signal to activate the fuse after receiving the analog sensor signal.

  • Publication number: 20230007932
Abstract: A method and system for mitigating risk of frauds related to streaming content consumption is disclosed. Users' interaction data corresponding to a plurality of users of a digital platform related to streaming content is received. A set of users from the plurality of users is determined based on the users' interaction data. The set of users is determined based on the presence of at least one of an outlier event and an anomaly in their respective user interaction data. For each user of the set of users, a user breach profile for a user is generated; a fraud event is determined by applying at least one rule on the user breach profile; at least one action is triggered in response to a determination of the fraud event; and a risk score is determined for the user based on the user breach profile to monitor user interaction data of the user.

  • Patent number: 11450999
Abstract: Connector inserts and connector receptacles that have a small form factor and where when a connector insert and connector receptacle are mated, the connector insert can rotate and articulate relative to an electronic device housing the connector receptacle. The connector receptacle can be connected to components in the electronic device through a flexible circuit board having an amount of slack or excess length to allow the connector receptacle and the connector insert to rotate relative to the connected components. A bearing supporting the connector receptacle can articulate about an axis to allow the connector receptacle and connector insert to articulate relative to the connected components. The bearing can further support a locking mechanism to lock the connector insert in place in the connector receptacle.

  • Patent number: 11239520
Abstract: This disclosure details assemblies for mounting and supporting components within battery packs. Exemplary battery packs may include a first battery array, a second battery array positioned adjacent to the first battery array, a crossmember positioned between the first battery array and the second battery array, and a support bracket connected to the crossmember. Together, the crossmember and the support bracket established an assembly. Both the first battery array and the second battery array may be secured to the crossmember, and the support bracket may support a second tier structure above at least one of the first battery array or the second battery array.

  • Publication number: 20210327598
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for automatically verifying medical provider data. A service provider may receive medical provider data from one or more data sources. The data sources may include websites associated with health care services, search engines, crowd-sourced reviews, insurance claims from medical providers, feedback from patients (e.g., members), and the like. The service provider may compare the received medical provider data to stored medical provider data in a datastore, such as that stored in a medical provider account. The service provider may determine a probability that the stored medical provider data is accurate. Based on a determination that the probability is above a threshold, the service provider may automatically verify the stored medical provider data. Based on a determination that the probability is below the threshold, the service provider may request manual verification of the stored medical provider data.

  • Patent number: 9304700
Abstract: System and method for remotely performing a power cycle operation for a storage shelf of a storage server using a control path independent of a data path used for processing I/O requests is provided. The storage server maintains a data structure for storing information regarding a state of a plurality of power latches that are used to control power for the storage shelf having an alternate control path module for receiving control commands via the control path. Depending on the state of the plurality of power latches, the storage server sends one or more commands to the alternate control path module to turn off power to the storage shelf during a power cycle operation. When the power shelf is powered off, the storage server waits for a certain duration and then sends one or more power on commands to the alternate control path module to power on the storage shelf.
