  • Publication number: 20240091949
Abstract: A robotic singulation system is disclosed. In various embodiments, sensor data including image data associated with a workspace is received. The sensor data is used to generate a three dimensional view of at least a portion of the workspace, the three dimensional view including boundaries of a plurality of items present in the workspace. A grasp strategy is determined for each of at least a subset of items, and for each grasp strategy a corresponding probability of grasp success is computed. The grasp strategies and corresponding probabilities of grasp success are used to determine and implement a plan to autonomously operate a robotic structure to pick one or more items from the workplace and place each item singly in a corresponding location in a singulation conveyance structure.

  • Publication number: 20230316137
Abstract: Automated spatial feature engineering techniques may include (1) automatically deriving new features (e.g., spatial lags) based on spatial relationships between or among observations, (2) using parameter optimization techniques to optimize parameters of the spatial feature engineering process (e.g., parameters relating to the size of spatial neighborhoods and/or to the orders of spatial lags), (3) automatically deriving new spatial features representing geometric properties and/or spatial statistics associated with individual spatial observations, (4) determining the feature importance of location features, and/or (5) automatically partitioning spatial datasets such that spatial leakage is reduced, which generally leads to the development of more accurate spatial models. Such techniques may involve joint treatment of distinct location coordinate features as a single location feature for purposes of determining feature importance.

  • Publication number: 20220078704
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to reducing power consumption of an electronic device scanning for wireless communication signals while maintaining or even improving an efficiency of the scanning operations. To do so, the electronic device may include more than one scan core, such as a main core and a receiving core. The receiving core may have limited functionality compared to the main core. For example, the receiving core may only receive wireless signals (including scanning for wireless signals). That is, the receiving core may not support certain operations that consume relative high power that are supported by the main core, such as transmission of signals. In this way, operation of the receiving core, either in place of or in addition to the main core, may reduce power consumption of the electronic device by avoiding high power consuming operations, such as data transmission, while scanning for various signals.

  • Patent number: 11223869
Abstract: A stream management platform may receive a request to provide, via a network, a content stream to an area, wherein the request indicates a requested latency associated with providing the content stream to the area. The stream management platform may determine an entry node of the network that is to receive the content stream from a content source. The stream management platform may identify a plurality of transmission nodes associated with the area. The stream management platform may determine respective latencies associated with multicasting the content stream from the entry node to the plurality of transmission nodes. The stream management platform may determine whether the respective latencies satisfy the requested latency. The stream management platform may perform, based on whether the respective latencies satisfy the requested latency, an action associated with the content stream according to the respective latencies.

  • Publication number: 20210299193
Abstract: The present invention provides a synbiotic combination of i) a probiotic micro-organism comprising of a Lactobacillus strain, and ii) a catechin component comprising EGCG that acts as a second generation synbiotic with synergistic effects in improving the immune response and antioxidant capacity during aging that may beneficially affect the health of elderly. The catechin fraction exhibited differential effects on growth of bacteria with strong inhibition of pathogenic bacteria as opposed to probiotic bacteria suggesting its prebiotic efficacy. In vitro testing indicated protective effects of catechin and probiotics in a synergistic manner resulting in amelioration of oxidative and inflammatory stress.
