  • Patent number: 11039440
Abstract: An access point (AP) device assigns respective blocks of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) tones to a plurality of client stations for an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) data unit. The AP device receives respective independent data for the plurality of client stations, and generates a preamble of the OFDMA data unit to include: respective legacy preamble portions in respective sub-channels. Each legacy preamble portion includes a legacy signal field that indicates a duration of the OFDMA data unit, and a non-legacy preamble portion. The AP device also generates a data portion of the OFDMA data unit to include respective independent data for respective client stations. The respective independent data are included within the respective blocks of OFDM tones.

Abstract: A communications apparatus to receive a composite signal including a desired signal and interferer signals, where the desired signal may include desired symbols and the interferer signals may include interferer symbols. The system may include N frameworks, each framework may include a detector to partition the desired symbols and the interferer symbols based on an interference severity into a dominant group and a non-dominant group, and to generate A Posteriori Probabilities (APP) of the desired symbols and the interferer symbols. The detector of each of the N frameworks generates the APP based on a feedback of a priori probabilities from each of the N frameworks.

  • Publication number: 20210171221
Abstract: A method is provided for diagnosing a failure on an aircraft that includes aircraft systems configured to report faults to an onboard reasoner. The method includes receiving a fault report at an onboard computer of the aircraft from an aircraft system of the aircraft systems, the fault report indicating failed tests reported by the aircraft system. The onboard reasoner accesses an onboard diagnostic causal model represented by a graph describing known causal relationships between possible failed tests reported by the respective ones of the aircraft systems, and possible failure modes of the respective ones of the aircraft systems. The onboard reasoner diagnoses a failure mode of the aircraft system or another of the aircraft systems, from the failed tests, and using a graph-theoretic algorithm and the onboard diagnostic causal model. A maintenance action is determined for the failure mode, and a maintenance message is generated including the maintenance action.

  • Publication number: 20210173465
Abstract: In an embodiment, an integrated circuit includes multiple instances of a component (e.g. a processor) and a control circuit. The instances may be configured to operate in various modes. Some of the modes are incapable of presenting a worst-case load on the power supply. The control circuit may be configured to monitor the instances and detect the modes in which the instances are operating. Based on the monitoring, the control circuit may request to recover a portion of the voltage margin established for worst-case conditions in the instances. If the instances are to change modes, they may be configured to request mode change from the control circuit. If the mode change causes an increase in the current supply voltage magnitude (e.g. to restore some of the recovered voltage margin), the control circuit may cause the restore and permit it to complete prior to granting the mode change.

  • Publication number: 20210176215
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for privacy protection of records based on attribute-based determination of quasi-identifiers within the records is provided. The method receives a first set of records containing a first set of attributes for a set of individuals. The method receives a second set of records for the set of individuals, with the second set of records containing a second set of attributes. A first set of quasi-identifiers, based on the first set of attributes, is accessed for the first set of records. The method determines a set of new attributes of the second set of attributes based on the first set of attributes. A second set of quasi-identifiers is generated based on the first set of quasi-identifiers and the set of new attributes. The method generates an anonymized set of records from the second set of records based on the second set of quasi-identifiers.

  • Publication number: 20210176712
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling uplink (UL) transmission power of a user equipment (UE) electronic device includes determining, using the UE electronic device, that a maximum power availability for a transmission between the UE and a wireless network node is not appropriate to current conditions. Based on the determination that maximum power availability is not appropriate the UE electronic device sends a request to the wireless network node to reduce power for communication with the wireless network node. Based on the request, the UE electronic device communicates at a reduced power level for communications with the wireless network node.

  • Publication number: 20210176229
Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for authenticating a user through a voice assistant device and creating an association between the device and a user account. The request is associated with a network or federated service. The user is prompted to use a client device, such as a smartphone, to facilitate an authentication flow. A soundwave is played through the client device that contains a secret key, which is then sent to a service that validates the secret key. An association between the user account and the voice assistant device can then be created so that access to third party services can occur.

  • Publication number: 20210174612
Abstract: A method is provided for maintaining an onboard reasoner for diagnosing failures on an aircraft that includes aircraft systems configured to report faults to the onboard reasoner. The method includes accessing diagnostic data received from an onboard computer of the aircraft that includes the onboard reasoner. An off-board reasoner builds an off-board diagnostic causal model that describes causal relationships between the failed tests and the diagnosed failure modes. The off-board diagnostic causal model is compared to the diagnostic data. Based thereon, a discrepancy is identified between the graph of the off-board diagnostic causal model, and the other graph of the onboard diagnostic causal model, to determine a new causal relationship relative to the known causal relationships. The onboard diagnostic causal model is updated to further describe the new causal relationship, including producing an updated model, and uploading the updated model to the onboard computer.

Abstract: Embodiments of present disclosure discloses system and method for reconstruction of FOV. Initially, presence of one of single object and distinct objects in FOV of image of sample comprising one or more objects is determined based on sharpness of one or more objects. A single optimal representation of FOV may be generated when presence of single object is determined. At least one of single optimal representation and a depth-based enhanced representation of FOV may be generated when presence of distinct objects is determined. For generating depth-based enhanced representation, one or more first optimal images associated with each of distinct objects in FOV may be retrieved. • Patent number: 11025368
Abstract: A preamble of a physical layer (PHY) data unit that conforms to a first communication protocol is generated. The preamble includes a legacy field that is formatted according to a second communication protocol, and a signal field having a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a second OFDM symbol. The first OFDM symbol (i) immediately follows the legacy field and (ii) is modulated using binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation, whereas a third communication protocol specifies that an OFDM symbol, defined by the third communication protocol, that immediately follows the legacy field is modulated using BPSK modulation rotated by 90 degrees (Q-BPSK). The second OFDM symbol (i) immediately follows the first OFDM symbol and (ii) is modulated using Q-BPSK to indicate to a receiver device that conforms to the first communication protocol that the data unit conforms to the first communication protocol.
