  • Patent number: 10678523
Abstract: Processor hardware detects when memory aliasing occurs, and assures proper operation of the code even in the presence of memory aliasing. Because the hardware can detect and correct for memory aliasing, this allows a compiler to make optimizations such as register promotion even in regions of the code where memory aliasing can occur. The result is code that is more optimized and therefore runs faster.

  • Patent number: 10680438
Abstract: A plurality of edge of network grid volt ampere reactive (VAR) sources are provided in a power system in order to effectuate control at a customer level, which in turn effectuates control at a feeder level, which in turn effectuates control of an entire power system or wide area electric grid network. By optimally selecting voltage setpoints and applying such voltage setpoints to the plurality of edge of network grid VAR sources, the power system can be configured to self-balance, power factor compensation can be determined without the need for measuring load power factor. Moreover, traditionally volatile voltages at the feeder can be flattened, and VAR control can be realized.

  • Patent number: 10680743
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a fine-grained link adaptation mechanism that allows for link adaptation at a resource block granularity. To this end, the fine-grained link adaptation mechanism can determine the effective signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio for individual user equipment in a particular cell at the resource block granularity. This way, the transmitter can use the effective signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio to adapt the modulation and coding scheme at the resource block granularity. The fine-grained link adaptation mechanism can be introduced to a long term evolution (LTE) network without substantial redesign of the LTE network.

  • Publication number: 20200175304
Abstract: Various methods are using SQL based data extraction for extracting relevant information from images. These are rule based methods of generating SQL-Query from NL, if any new English sentences are to be handled then manual intervention is required. Further becomes difficult for non-technical user. A system and method for extracting relevant from the images using a conversational interface and database querying have been provided. The system eliminates noisy effects, identifying the type of documents and detect various entities for diagrams. Further a schema is designed which allows an easy to understand abstraction of the entities detected by the deep vision models and the relationships between them. Relevant information and fields can then be extracted from the document by writing SQL queries on top of the relationship tables. A natural language based interface is added so that a non-technical user, specifying the queries in natural language, can fetch the information effortlessly.

  • Patent number: 10673943
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Patent number: 10673736
Abstract: A first network node of a computer network discovers a host route by leveraging a temporary host route on the control plane of the computer network. The first network node receives, from a source host, a request for a host route associated with a destination host. The first network node determines that it has not previously stored the host route associated with the destination host, and generates a temporary host route associated with the destination host. The first network node propagates the temporary host route across the control plane of the computer network, causing each respective network node to discover if the destination host is connected to the respective network node.

  • Patent number: 10673236
Abstract: By virtue of the ability to vary local load via inverter (e.g., solar PV inverter) volt-ampere reactive power (VAR) injection, local demand and energy consumption can be controlled at a system level. Utilities that provide solar PV systems to consumers can leverage this ability to reduce the purchase of high cost energy. Moreover, revenue for such utilities can be maximized. For example, such localized voltage and VAR control allow for precise control to achieve, e.g., plus or minus about two percent of kW and kWHr of power consumed at a node.
