Abstract: A method and apparatus for facilitating the utilization of virtual payment card data is provided. In various embodiments, virtual payment card data is received by a centralized e-procurement service directly from buyer or issuer entities participating in the service. In various embodiments, secure processes protect the security of virtual payment card data on the centralized service by actively monitoring the service for abnormal view and access behaviors of the virtual payment card data. In various embodiments, viewing interfaces for the e-procurement service are actively and responsively altered to ensure secure utilization of the virtual payment card data. In various embodiments, preventative actions are taken to actively alter virtual payment card data or access methods for entities utilizing the e-procurement service to protect the integrity and security of virtual payment card data.

Abstract: Techniques are described for providing an interface for managing invitations to communicate via a communication platform. In an example, a first user can access a first interface to invite a second user to communicate via the communication platform. In response to input from the first user via the first interface, the communication platform can generate an invitation for the second user to communicate with the first user and can provide the invitation to the second user, such as by causing the invitation to be presented via a second interface. The second user can submit a response to the invitation via the second interface. The communication platform can update the first interface and the second interface based on response, such as, in examples in which the second user accepts the invitation, to reflect a newly established connection between the first user and the second user.

Abstract: A method is provided for maintaining an onboard reasoner for diagnosing failures on an aircraft that includes aircraft systems configured to report faults to the onboard reasoner. The method includes accessing diagnostic data received from an onboard computer of the aircraft that includes the onboard reasoner. An off-board reasoner builds an off-board diagnostic causal model that describes causal relationships between the failed tests and the diagnosed failure modes. The off-board diagnostic causal model is compared to the diagnostic data. Based thereon, a discrepancy is identified between the graph of the off-board diagnostic causal model, and the other graph of the onboard diagnostic causal model, to determine a new causal relationship relative to the known causal relationships. The onboard diagnostic causal model is updated to further describe the new causal relationship, including producing an updated model, and uploading the updated model to the onboard computer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to limiting viewing of media content. More particularly, the present invention relates to classifying segments of content for limited viewing based on user preferences and classifications. According to a first aspect, there is provided a method for parental control of media content for a media guidance application, the method comprising, determining user preferences comprising settings for restricting viewing of segments of media content, determining media content for user consumption on a user device, determining a classification of each of a plurality of segments of the media content using a content analyzer and classifier, and comparing the determined classifications against the user preferences.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for mechanically controlling microfluidic movement using a force applicator and an elastically deformable sheet are described herein. These apparatuses may include a mechanical microfluidics actuator devices and a cartridge. A microfluidic droplet may be moved or displaced within an air gap of the cartridge by applying a compressive force locally and selectively reduce the gap width of the air gap near the microfluidic droplet causing the microfluidic droplet to move toward the reduced gap. Compressive forces may also be used to divide, join, mix or perform other operations on the microfluidic droplets.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage media are provided that are useful in a computing environment for receiving, modifying, and transforming service level information from database servers and entities in a hosted database environment. Multiple application programming interface (API) calls are made by a database observation system to request information for multiple service level indicators from database servers belonging to multiple different entities. Database observation system receives and aggregates the information for multiple service level indicators from each of the database servers belonging to multiple different entities. The database observation system provides, within a dashboard interface, the aggregated information for each of the multiple service level indicators, individual service level indicator scores, and aggregated service level indicator scores for each of the database servers for each of the multiple entities.

Abstract: Driver classification systems and methods are disclosed herein. The driver classification method includes collecting first vehicle driving data from a first vehicle, processing the first vehicle driving data using a driver classification learning model including a machine learning algorithm at one of an edge server and the first vehicle to assign a driver classification to the first vehicle, updating the driver classification learning model based on additional driver classification learning models received from a plurality of additional vehicles, sending the driver classification to an insurance provider, receiving an insurance rate for the first vehicle from the insurance provider based on the driver classification of the first vehicle, and providing the insurance rate to the first vehicle.

And, one or more switching devices connected to the resonant transformer and configured to selectively vary a resonant impedance of the resonant converter device when a voltage inputted to the resonant converter device varies.

Abstract: A transmit power optimization and rate-control system includes a transmitter circuit having one or more power amplifiers transmit radio-frequency (RF) signals at a transmission (Tx) rate and a Tx power level. A receiver circuit receives RF signals, decodes the received RF signals and provides one or more Tx status feedbacks. A rate-control module adjusts the Tx rate based at least on a channel condition. A probing engine generates at least two consecutive frames at a first Tx power level, and a second Tx power level in response to a trigger causes the transmitter to transmit the at least two consecutive frames, and processes respective Tx status feedbacks received in response to transmission of the two consecutive frames in order to optimize the Tx power of the transmitter.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a method includes receiving, over a network, a conversation view request to retrieve messages from a conversation graph stored on a messaging platform from a first user account, generating a ranked list of messages for at least a portion of the messages from the conversation graph, identifying, from the ranked list of messages, a message authored by a second user account having an indirect relationship to the first user account in an engagement graph, selecting a social context object for the message based on a type of the indirect relationship, and transmitting, over the network, information to display the message and the social context object, the social context object providing information about the type of the indirect relationship.

The signal path is coupled between an output of the pre-power amplifier and an input of the power amplifier. Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for content management systems. Multiple components are operatively interconnected to carry out operations for establishing a user device trust level. A content management system facilitates interactions between a plurality of user devices and a plurality of shared content objects. The plurality of user devices are network connected to the content management system. One of the user devices issues a request to access a particular one of the content objects. Responsive to the request, a two-step device check is performed before granting access to the particular one of the content objects. A first step of the two-step device check process is based on environmental information, and a second step of the two-step device check process is based at least in part on analysis of the content of the particular one of the content objects. The actual bits of the content object itself are inspected.

Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically building an application framework are disclosed. An internal database stores available design patterns and code snippets for developing an application. A receiver receives, as input, a requirement document that includes one or more requirements for developing the application. A processor parses the requirement document by implementing a natural language processing algorithm; creates, based on the parsed requirement document, a plurality of code blocks for generating a structure and a design pattern to be used to develop the application by matching the one or more requirements with the available design patterns; accesses the database to obtain the code snippets for the plurality of code blocks; and automatically builds an application framework based on the code snippets.

Abstract: A method includes receiving measurement data from multiple sensors positioned along a delivery line that delivers a liquid as a gas to one of a gas panel or a processing chamber; simulating, using a computer-generated model, one or more process parameters associated with the delivery line and a plurality of heater jackets positioned around the delivery line; comparing the measurement data with values of the one or more process parameters; and determining, based on at least a threshold deviation between the measurement data and the values of the one or more process parameters, that a fault exists that is associated with maintaining temperature within the delivery line consistent with a gaseous state of the liquid.

Abstract: Digital content design system techniques are described using baseline units to control arrangement and sizing of digital content. In one example, a digital content design system receives a user input specifying a number of baselines to be included within an available display area of a page. Baselines are used to align digital content to control arrangement of the digital content within the page, e.g., text. From this, the digital content design system then calculates a baseline unit from a distance used to space adjacent baselines of the number of baselines from each other. This baseline unit is then leveraged by the system as a fundamental unit of measure to control arrangement and/or sizing of digital content in relation to each other.

Abstract: The disclosed technology relates determining a first subset of a plurality drives having a first zone size and a second subset of the plurality of drives having a second zone size different from the first zone size, within a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) group. A prevailing zone size between the first zone size and the second zone size is determined. One or more logical zones within the determined first subset of the plurality of drives and the determined second subset of the plurality of drives for a received input-output operation is reserved based on the determined prevailing zone size. The received input-output operation is completed within the reserved one or more logical zones within the determined first subset of the plurality of drives and the determined second subset of the plurality of drives.

Abstract: A method and system for handling asynchronous data streams in a multi-tenant system. The process includes receiving at least a first stream of data and a second stream of data by a rules engine, determining by pattern matching of the rules engine, whether data in the first stream or data in the second stream meet conditions of a rule defined by a tenant of the multi-tenant system, and implementing by the rules engine the rule including a set of actions to modify data from the second data stream, in response to the data in the first stream matching the conditions the rule.
