  • Patent number: 5084541
Abstract: Novel triisocyanato triazines and carbamoyl triazine derivatives thereof are disclosed. These compounds will self-cure and also function as crosslinkers for compounds containing active hydrogen groups. When the active hydrogen-containing compounds are hydroxylated polymers, environmentally-resistant coatings are provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 14, 1990
Date of Patent: January 28, 1992
    Assignee: American Cyanamid Company
Inventors: William J. Jacobs, III, Roland Dileone

  • Patent number: 4755623
Abstract: A sterically unhindered, trifunctional primary amine is provided. This compound is useful as a crosslinking agent for a composition containing an amine-reactive polymer. Also provided is a low temperature cure composition containing the amine-reactive polymer and the trifunctional primary amine, and a crosslinked coating obtained by curing such a composition. Additionally, there is provided a process of synthesizing the novel trifunctional primary amine.
