  • Publication number: 20240076091
Abstract: A method for the production monitoring of a labeling machine, and a labeling machine for labeling containers, comprising a transport means for continuously supplying the containers, at least one labeling assembly for transferring labels to the containers, and at least one label store for continuously supplying labels, is described. Accordingly, the filling state of the label store and a machine performance of the transport means and/or of the labeling assembly are continuously measured and, on this basis, at least one remaining running time is calculated, which indicates how long labeling can still be carried out, at the filling state, in the case of an assumed further course of machine performance. The output of the remaining running time facilitates continuous production planning and enables efficient personnel use for the required replenishment of consumables.

  • Patent number: 9067405
Abstract: A printing device for containers, such as bottles, cans or cups, with a screen to apply a screen print onto the containers, where a squeegee holding device that is guided by a continuous track holds an squeegee in such a way that while the printed image is being applied to the container, one end of the squeegee scrapes across the screen and forces ink through the screen onto one of the containers, and where the distance between the end of the squeegee and the squeegee holding device varies. Also, a container handling device, in the manner of a bottling plant, with such a printing device and a mechanical turret designed to guide the containers to a surface of the container contact device facing away from the squeegee. Also, a method for applying ink to containers in accordance with a screen printing principle.

  • Patent number: 9051072
Abstract: A labeling system may include a labeling device which applies labels to objects, for example, containers, and a loading device which is arranged upstream of this labeling device and which supplies the labeling device with labels The loading device may comprise a transport device which transports a second label strip and comprises at least two carriers for first label strips wound onto label rolls The carriers may be arranged next to one another on holding devices. A joining unit may be provided which can be displaced between the carriers in a first movement direction and which joins sections of the first label strips, which are arranged on the carriers, to sections of the second label strips, which are guided in the transport device.

  • Patent number: 7295317
Abstract: A device for inspecting filled and sealed containers consisting of a first carousel in which the containers to be inspected can be rotated about their longitudinal axis so that the contents in the containers begin to rotate with sufficient speed to stir up any foreign bodies that may be present from the bottom of the container and consisting of a second carousel following the first carousel in the direction of transport for bottom-free transport of the containers, at least one inspection device which operates by the dark field method being provided for detection of light scattering foreign bodies in the contents, whereby the two carousels are arranged side by side with their partial circles in tangent so that the containers can be transferred from the first carousel directly to the second carousel.
