  • Patent number: 4767343
Abstract: Electrical connection pin for surface-mountable electrical coils which has one end embedded in a coil member web and has its other free end attached to a circuit board. The connection pin is fashioned with flat end faces, particularly flanges, and is fashioned symmetrical in reference to a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the connection pin and passing through the longitudinal center of the connection pin.

  • Patent number: 4325044
Abstract: A holder for retaining mirror symmetric E core halves of an electromagnetic core structure consists of angle pieces each having a leg disposed parallel to abutting sides of the E core halves and each having another leg extending around a straight outer surface of one of the halves. The parallel legs engage a retaining plate and terminate in threaded ends for receiving bolts to force the E core halves together and retain the halves by pressure exerted on the outer surfaces of the halves. The threaded ends of the angle pieces extend a sufficient distance for utilization of the holder to mount the electromagnetic core on a circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4283699
Abstract: A holder for an electromagneticcoil assembly comprised of joined mirror symmetric E core halves has two bracket pieces which are disposed adjacent to joined legs of the E core halves, each bracket having a pair of bores therein for receiving at least one retainer rod. The rod extends through the brackets and an alignment bore or groove in the core halves. In one embodiment of the holder a retainer plate having bores in registry with the bracket bores also receives the retainer rod, with nuts applied to threaded ends of the retainer rod to exert a uniform retaining pressure along opposite faces of the core halves to maintain a substantially constant core air gap and maximize vibration resistance.

  • Patent number: 4246562
Abstract: A coil form or body for coils is disclosed particularly for use in printed circuits. The coil form has a flange provided with insertable perforations in order to accommodate one-piece soldering lugs having soldering lug legs aligned at a right angle relative to one another in order to solder the coil wires and particularly for soldering into the printed circuit. The soldering lugs are equipped with at least one clamping element which abuts against the surface of the coil member flange when the soldering lug is pushed in and secures the coil form from shifting. The perforations are designed at a right angle and at least one latch is arranged on at least one soldering lug leg. This latch abuts against the exterior side of the flange when the soldering lug is inserted into the perforation.

  • Patent number: 4092622
Abstract: An electronic coil assembly having a coil body with attached soldering elements having projecting tangs extending at right angles from one another forming, respectively, pins for attachment of the coil onto printed circuit boards and soldering lugs for attachment of the ends of the coil wire, the elements being formed with integral spring means and being snapped into place in openings through flanges of the coil body.
