Abstract: Stable dust-free commercial preparations of organic substances are described, which preparations comprise an organic substance especially a dyestuff or optical brightener in dry powder form enclosed in a covering, particularly in a sack or bag sealed on all sides, made from polyethylene oxide having a molecular weight of more than 200,000 and a thickness of 10 to 80.mu., which covering is soluble in the same medium as the content.

Abstract: Described is a process for agglomerating a substance from a liquid system with subsequent separation and drying, which liquid system is composed of at least two liquids, which at 20.degree. C. are completely miscible with one another.

Abstract: A novel process for the complete isolation and rapid drying of a solid, or mixtures of solids, from a suspension, is described in that there is added to the aqueous or organic suspension containing said solid an additional liquid, or a mixture of such liquids, which is a solvent for the solid contained in the suspension, and which liquid is insoluble, or soluble to only a limited extent, in the suspension liquid, in such a way that a multiphase system is formed; and the mixture is maintained in a state of intense turbulence until agglomerates of the solid are formed; and this is then seperated from the multiphase system and optionally dried.

Abstract: There is disclosed a stable concentrated liquid preparation of a paper dye of the copper phthalocyanine class, which preparation contains 15 to 50 per cent by weight of the dye of the formulaCuPc [SO.sub.2 NH(CH.sub.2).sub.3 N(CH.sub.3).sub.2 ].sub.2 to 3 [SO.sub.3 H].sub.1 to 2,wherein CuPc denotes copper phthalocyanine, optionally in the form of an alkali salt, especially in the form of the sodium salt, dissolved in 30 to 65 per cent by weight of water, 5 to 15 per cent by weight of N-methylpyrrolidone, 1 to 7 per cent by weight of benzyl alcohol, and 1 to 5 per cent by weight of a lower aliphatic carboxylic acid and the use of this preparation for the dyeing and printing of paper, semi-cardboard and cardboard.

Abstract: There is described a stable concentrated liquid preparation of paper dyes which preparation contains 15 to 40 per cent by weight of certain anionic disazo dyes of the formula ##STR1## dissolved in 40 to 80 per cent by weight of a diethylene glycol monoalkyl ether, optionally in admixture with up to 30 per cent by weight of a mono-, di-, tri- or tetraalkylene glycol, and the use of this liquid preparation for the dyeing and printing of paper, semi-cardboard and cardboard.

Abstract: There is described a stable concentrated liquid preparation of a paper dye of the disazo class, which preparation contains 20 to 40 per cent by weight of the dye of the formula ##STR1## optionally in the form of an alkali salt, especially of the sodium salt, dissolved in 10 to 30 per cent by weight of water and 40 to 60 per cent by weight of a mono-, di-, tri- or tetraalkylene glycol and the use of this preparation for the dyeing and printing of paper, semi-cardboard and cardboard.

Abstract: A stable dye solution which has a high concentration of dye and which is miscible with water in any proportion, is described which dye solution contains(a) 20 to 40 percent by weight of at least one azo, nitro or anthraquinone dye containing acid groups, in particular sulphonic acid groups,(b) 20 to 80 percent by weight of N-cyclohexylpyrrolidone,(c) optionally 0.1 to 20 percent by weight of water, and(d) optionally 0.1 to 50 percent by weight of a glycol or glycol ether or of a mixture thereof,As well as, optionally, further additives; the said dye solution is suitable in particular for the continuous dyeing of carpets.

Abstract: Solid non-dusty, porous dyestuff-foams are described of any desired shape and size containing at least one dyestuff, a foaming agent and optionally bonding agents and/or further additives.These foams are useful for preparing dye liquors or printing pastes by sprinkling said foams into water or organic solvents.
