  • Patent number: 10934139
Abstract: A lifting apparatus, including a support carriage movable along a track, a lifting element for holding a load, a lifting device for raising and lowering the lifting element vertically relative to the support carriage. The lifting device includes at least two tension elements, wherein each tension element can be wound onto the supporting carriage by a winding apparatus. A first drive is provided for driving a first winding apparatus and a second drive is provided for driving a second winding apparatus. The first drive has a drive motor which drives a shaft by a conical gear mechanism, the shaft drives a roller of the first winding apparatus by a gear mechanism element and the second drive has a drive motor which drives a roller of the second winding apparatus by a spur gear, parallel-shaft gear or planetary gear mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8157079
Abstract: A transporting apparatus for a vehicle assembly plant having a base element that is displaceable on a transporting plane, at least two pedestal elements connected to the base element, where each pedestal element is rotatable about a rotational axis perpendicular to the transporting plane. In addition, a support element for holding a vehicle body is connected to each of the at least two pedestal elements, where the support element is moveable eccentrically with respect to the rotational axis of each pedestal element.

  • Patent number: 7357376
Abstract: It is described a device for lifting and stabilizing loads, comprising a frame and a height-adjustable crossmember, which is located below said frame, bears the load, and is stabilized by two intersecting telescopic struts that are hinged on the crossmember so that they can pivot, said struts being in turn secured against modifications in length by means of two stays. Each stay, which is deflected by a deflection pulley provided on the frame or crossmember in the vicinity of the hinged ends of the telescopic struts, is guided in a parallel manner to or in an essentially coaxial manner with the pivoting axis of the telescopic strut to an additional (third) deflection pulley and is then conducted to the other respective telescopic strut.

  • Patent number: 6706201
Abstract: For manufacturing substrate materials which are needed for the manufacture of electrical circuit carriers, methods are known in which metal layers are applied to a dielectric substrate by means of a glow discharge process and thereafter additional metal layers are applied by means of electroplating processes. These methods however are not suitable for the manufacture of substrate materials which are suitable for high frequency applications in the gigahertz range. The invention starts from the previously-mentioned methods and solves the described problem through the use of fluoropolymers and through coating of these materials by means of a glow discharge process with nickel, since by this means even very smooth surfaces of the substrate can be securely coated. The metallised materials can be coated with additional metal layers from electroless or electrolytic deposition baths.

  • Patent number: 4310781
Abstract: A Zr-C sintered body is charged with H.sub.2 to form zirconium hydride within the body and such body is positioned in working association with a heating means within an electronic tube, such as a vidicon tube, which utilizes hydrogen as a supporting gas. During an operation of such tube, the sintered body is heated and releases an amount of H.sub.2 therefrom as a function of the temperature while the sintered body acts as a getter for any residual gases within the tube, other than H.sub.2, at elevated operating temperatures.
