  • Patent number: 5749390
Abstract: A valve includes a distributor with four ports and two positions. In a first position, a first non-return valve allows only circulation of a fluid from the first port toward the third port, while the second port and the fourth port are directly in communication with one another. In a second position, the third port and the fourth port are directly in communication with one another, while a second non-return valve allows only circulation of fluid from the third port and the fourth port in communication toward the first port.

  • Patent number: 5107663
Abstract: A farm machine comprises at least one group of working elements and a structure having a hitching mechanism for hitching the farm machine to a motor vehicle during work. The group of working elements is connected to the structure which comprises a tongue (hitching mechanism), and a frame through a deformable quadrilateral suspension device which comprises suspension elements each one of which is connected to the structure through a first joint and to the group of working elements through a second joint.

  • Patent number: 5094063
Abstract: A mower to be moved by a motorized vehicle includes a frame supporting a number of working elements (cutting elements combined or not with processing elements). These working elements are arranged crosswise to a direction of advancement of the motor vehicle and mower during work. Two cutting bar parts, one on each side of a central plane of the mower, carry the cutting elements and their associated drive structure. The two cutting bar parts are connected to one another rigidly and reliably. An arrangement of transmission shafts, bevel gears, and universal joints is provided for transferring rotating motion from a power source to the working elements of the mower.

  • Patent number: 5060462
Abstract: A mower includes a frame having a connecting mechanism for connecting the frame to a motor vehicle. The mower also includes at least one harvesting mechanism which comprises cutting elements and is connected to the frame through a suspension device. The suspension device permits the displacement in height of the harvesting mechanism relative to the frame. The mower further includes a lightening device operatively connected to the harvesting mechanism and comprising at least one spring connected directly to the harvesting mechanism. The lightening device makes it possible to reduce the pressure with which the harvesting mechanism rests on the ground by transferring a part of the weight of the harvesting mechanism to the frame.

  • Patent number: 4986061
Abstract: A mower according to the invention includes a mowing group provided with a cutting bar and skids. The rear connection of each one of the skids includes connection means that allow the rear part of the skid to separate from the cutting bar in a relative movement directed backwardly, considering the direction of advance.

  • Patent number: 4899523
Abstract: A mower including a cutting device connected in an articulated manner to a frame, the cutting device including two groups of mowing elements and each one of the two groups of mowing elements including drive elements. A transmission means transmits movement from a driving source to the drive elements of each one of the two groups of mowing elements. The transmission means includes an input means located at least approximately in the middle of the frame seen crosswise to the direction of work and movement distribution means for distributing the movement of the input means to the drive elements. The two groups of mowing elements are connected rigidly to one another, and the cutting device is connected to the frame by a deformable quadrilateral device. The drive elements of each one of the two groups of mowing elements include a transmission that extends over the one of the mowing elements located on the outside end of the corresponding group of mowing elements.

  • Patent number: 4848069
Abstract: The mower comprises at least two mowing groups 6, each of the at least two mowing groups 6 being composed of a cutting bar 8 equipped with cutting elements, the cutting bars 8 being connected to one another by a joint 9 and the mowing groups 6 being connected to the chassis 1 by a suspension device 12, 20, 18; 12, 20, 39. The suspension device 12, 20, 18; 12, 20, 39 comprises an intermediate structure 12 movably connected to the chassis 1 by a connecting device 18; 20, 39. Each one of the at least two mowing groups 6 is connected to the intermediate structure 12 by a joint 16 having an axis at least approximately perpendicular to the vertical plane containing the longitudinal axis of the corresponding cutting bar 8. The joints 16 are capable of movement in the direction crosswise to the direction of work 25 in relation to the intermediate structure 12.
