  • Publication number: 20160264550
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with the formation of amide bonds. More specifically, the present invention, relates to processes for the manufacture of organogellant compounds (OG) as depicted below wherein L is selected from C2-C20 alkyl, C6-C20 aryl, C7-C20 alkylaryl, R1 are side chain substituents and one of X1, X2 is nitrogen and the other two are carbon. Processes of the present invention employ reaction mixtures with beneficial flow characteristics allowing sufficient agitation of all parts of these reaction mixtures and thus achieving adequate mixing of reaction partners and/or dissipation of heat. The beneficial flow characteristics are achieved by using suitable activation for coupling the terminal pyridine-carboxylic acid.

  • Patent number: 7142632
Abstract: Disclosed is a radiation image recording device comprising a source of radiation and a radiation receiver which are movable in a vertical direction in order to be positioned relative to a standing patient, and an image processing device for creating an output image based on the recorded image data. The source of radiation and the radiation receiver are movable in a controlled manner into successive image recording positions via a control device so as to record an area of analysis which exceeds the height of the active area of the digital radiation receiver, one radiation image being recorded in each image recording position. The positions are defined in such a way that the recorded radiation images cover the area of analysis while the image processing device is embodied so as to create a full image representing the entire area of analysis based on the image data of the individual radiation images.

  • Patent number: 6874816
Abstract: A chassis for a commercial vehicle, in particular a lorry, having a front module which has, on each side of the vehicle, a longitudinal member part and having an axle module which is fastened to the outside of the longitudinal member parts on each side of the vehicle in each case in a first coupling zone of the longitudinal member parts. The axle module has, on each side of the vehicle, an individual wheel suspension. Each of two lower A-frame arms are mounted with its second limb in a second coupling zone of the respective longitudinal member part. Both the first coupling zones and the second coupling zones are designed for at least two coupling configurations. The coupling can figuration differ from one another with regard to the vertical ground clearance of the longitudinal member parts.
