  • Publication number: 20220160044
Abstract: Provided is a smart inhaler, headset and wearable smart mask configured to operate as an air ionizer and a controlled multi-liquid atomizer. The smart mask, headset and smart inhaler use a mature technology to deliver various types of liquid solutions to different applications from health care, drug delivery, immunization to recreational and gaming uses. In addition, the smart mask and headset contain multiple actuators to provide haptic feedback to the areas around the mask and headset. The headset, smart mask and inhaler have a direct communication path to a smart device or it can be a smart device by itself; its various environmental and gas sensors act as a feedback mechanism. The detection level of the organic and non-organic VOC gas emitted when exhaling can be communicated and stored for analysis purposes. The detected gas can be regenerated on the same smart mask or a different remote smart mask.

  • Patent number: 6498792
Abstract: A telecommunications switching apparatus (10) includes optical paths (16-19) coupled to interface cards (26-29), which in turn are coupled to a switching circuit (41-42). The switching circuit is coupled to a plurality of universal connectors (71-74), each of which is coupled to an auxiliary connector (77-78). The universal connectors can each removably receive any one of several types of switching circuit cards (101-104), which each utilize a respective one of several different communication protocols. An auxiliary circuit card (107-108) may be provided in the associated auxiliary connector, in order to support switching circuit cards that use certain communication protocols. The optically transmitted information includes segments formatted according to respective communication protocols, and is converted from optical to electrical form by the interface cards.
