  • Patent number: 10820109
Abstract: A planar dynamic sound transducer includes a magnet arrangement which for example comprises bar magnets and a fixing frame, and a diaphragm arrangement. The diaphragm arrangement has a tensioned diaphragm film (diaphragm for short), a tensioning device for the diaphragm, and a conductor structure applied to the diaphragm. When the conductor structure is conventionally provided with electrical connections mechanically sensitive connections and/or high transfer resistances often occur. An improved diaphragm arrangement for a planar dynamic sound transducer includes a support frame having at least one contacting surface, and a diaphragm tensioned on the support frame, and which at least one electrically conductive conductor track is applied by coating. At least one end of the conductor track applied by coating extends on to the contacting surface of the support frame. The connecting line can be connected to the contacting surface of the support frame by way of a solder join.

  • Patent number: 10455329
Abstract: Known planar dynamic sound transducers include a flat, multipole magnet arrangement having parallel magnet bars which are arranged with intermediate spaces and which have a uniform magnetization in the direction of one of the short dimensions. The magnet bars are parallel to the conductors of a coil that are applied to a diaphragm and on their side towards the diaphragm include precisely one kind of magnetic poles. The current planar dynamic sound transducer includes a magnet plate with elongate air gaps extending transversely relative to the conductor. The magnet plate is one-sided multipole magnetized so that on the side towards the diaphragm and the conductor it includes at least one North pole and one South pole respectively at both sides along each air gap. The width of the air gaps in the magnet plate can be freely selected because it does not depend on the width of the conductor tracks.

  • Patent number: 4931134
Abstract: A method of fabricating a multilayer circuit board having rigid and flexible sections using Z-axis laser routing. A rigid superstructure is provided for lamination to a flexible circuit substrate, wherein the superstructure includes specially configured strips of laser reflective material, disposed on the laminating surface thereof, defining the boundary between the rigid and flexible sections of the multilayer circuit board. In subsequent processing, a beam of laser energy is directed through the rigid superstructure, along the Z-axis thereof, superjacent to each strip of laser reflective material, thereby cutting through the material of the superstructure creating a laser routed channel which forms an interface between the rigid and flexible sections of the finished multilayer circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4851613
Abstract: The disclosed invention provides a flexible circuit board for use in surface mount technology. A polyaramid fiber reinforced resin provides a substrate for a copper cladding in which a circuit is formed. Overlaying the circuitry are a plurality of spaced insulating pads also reinforced with polyaramid fiber for dimensional stability. The spaces insulated pads define fold-lines along which the circuit may be folded, thereby providing a degree of flexibility required for flexible circuit applications.
