  • Patent number: 11958155
Abstract: The invention is directed to a handheld work apparatus having a work tool. The work apparatus defines a longitudinal plane and includes a handle having a longitudinal axis. The blocking lever is mounted so as to be pivotable about a rotational axis. The blocking lever blocks the actuating lever in a blocking or disable position and enables the actuating lever for actuation in at least one operating enable position. In the direction of view perpendicular to the longitudinal plane, the longitudinal axis of the handle and the rotational axis of the blocking lever conjointly define an angle (?). The angle (?) lies in a range of from 10° to 60°.

  • Publication number: 20070137759
Abstract: A vehicle pneumatic tire, including a radial ply casing, two sidewalls, two bead areas with bead cores and core profiles, and two bead reinforcements comprising tire cords. Additionally, the two bead areas are reinforced in a circumferential direction of the vehicle pneumatic tire with the two bead reinforcements. Furthermore, the tire cords are arranged directly in the bead areas without any embedding into a rubber strip.

  • Publication number: 20070018804
Abstract: The invention relates to a transponder which is mounted in a tire. The transponder includes at least a transponder chip and a transponder antenna and is embedded in a substrate. The substrate is connected to an inner side of the tire by a connecting structure. In order to provide a transponder with the longest possible service life, the substrate is decoupled from the inner side of the tire via a connecting structure in the form of a soft or gliding support in such a manner that no or only minimum mechanical stresses are transmitted to the substrate. The connecting structure is arranged between the substrate and the inner side of the tire.

  • Patent number: 7151495
Abstract: A transponder to be fitted in or on a surface of an article which is substantially formed of a rubber product, in particular a transponder to be fitted in a tire, has a dipole antenna. The antenna length Lair, wherein air is exclusively present as the transmission medium, is calculated with the equation Lair=0.5×c/f, wherein c is the speed of light and f is the transmission frequency. In order to achieve a long transmission range, the transponder in the rubber product has an antenna length Lkp between 0.45×Lair and 0.90×Lair, preferably substantially between 0.61×Lair and 0.71×Lair.

  • Patent number: 6619350
Abstract: Vehicle wheel includes a rim and a pneumatic tire which includes a tread, two side walls, a carcass, reinforcing elements, and two tire beads with bead cores. An emergency running support body is supported on the rim which is arranged to support one of the pneumatic tire and an interior of the tread in an event of an emergency condition. The emergency running support body includes a shell-shaped ring body located inside the pneumatic tire and an emergency running surface on its exterior. At least one container, which contains a lubricant, is positioned inside a first ring chamber. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification , nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Patent number: 6406575
Abstract: Process for producing a pneumatic tire that includes an inner liner of a layer that is as air-impermeable as possible, at least one carcass ply provided with strength supports, horn profiles, bead cores, sidewalls, a belt assembly, and a tread. The process includes building-up a partial tire in a production part A, where the partial tire includes at least a carcass body that includes the at least one carcass ply provided with the strength supports, bead reinforcements and cores, core fillers and horn profiles, and an undertread, and shaping and at least partially vulcanizing the partial tire under an internal pressure in a vulcanization mold in a first vulcanization procedure. The process also includes determining a cross-sectional contour for a completed tire and an amount of surface and strength supports to be added to the partial tire prior to a production part B, and building-up the partial tire in the production part B by adding remaining tire components to produce a complete tire.

  • Patent number: 5776272
Abstract: A vehicle wheel has a wheel rim with a radially inwardly positioned mounting surface and rim flanges connected axially to opposite ends of the the mounting surface. A pneumatic vehicle tire with a carcass including at least one carcass ply is provided. The pneumatic vehicle tire has a tread and two sidewalls. The pneumatic vehicle tire is mounted on the inner mounting surface of the wheel rim so as to substantially enclose the mounting surface of the wheel rim. The rim flanges have a radially outwardly projecting end portion serving as axial contact surfaces for a respective one of the sidewalls.
