  • Patent number: 11056818
Abstract: An electrical outlet has a female member with at least two electrically conductive contact sleeves for the reception of the pins on a plug inserted in the female member and a connector arrangement for connection of the electrical outlet to a mains supply. The female member is movable relative to the connector arrangement between a first mode, in which the contact sleeves are electrically disconnected from the mains supply, and a second mode, in which contact sleeves are electrically connected to a mains supply. The connector arrangement include a connection ring and a mounting plate. The connector arrangement further include connection plates, whose number corresponds to the number of contact sleeves on the female member, wherein each contact sleeve is brought in or out of contact with a connection plate by movement of the female member.

  • Patent number: 7658119
Abstract: Disclosed is a tactile sensory system consisting of set of sensors that work by measuring impedance among plurality of electrodes. The electrodes are deployed on a substantially rigid structure that is protected form the direct contact with external objects by overlying deformable structures. These mechanical structures have similarities to the biological relationships among the distal phalanx, overlying finger pulp and covering skin and nail. Signal information is extracted form these sensors that is related to canonical physical representations used to describe stimuli to be sensed.

  • Publication number: 20040041140
Abstract: Preventing accidents and reducing the consequences thereof are matters that have become more and more important as the volume of traffic increases in society. One way of reducing the consequences of accidents is to mount safety barriers along the roads to prevent cars from leaving the road or getting into the opposite roadway. The invention relates to a safety barrier of the type steel cable barrier, also called wire barrier. Prior-art steel cable barriers require extensive and time-consuming work for mounting. A barrier has two wire anchoring foundations (4) and a plurality of wire post foundations (5) of concrete which are to be buried. Digging work that may cause subsidence that must be repaired later. The invention discloses a steel cable barrier (1) which solves these problems. A steel cable barrier (1) according to the invention comprising wires (2), wire posts (3) and a wire anchor (7) comprising a ground anchoring means (41) with anchoring wings (43) which are pressed or driven down into the ground.

  • Patent number: 3954378
Abstract: This invention relates to a die casting machine with a rotating frame carrying several molds. These molds are arranged to advance consecutively by stepwise rotation to a common station where removal of the castings takes place. The machine is especially suited for casting objects of ceramic and similar materials, and for this reason the molds are enclosed in separable, bi-sectional flasks designed to facilitate removal of the castings.
