  • Publication number: 20230216031
Abstract: A device for monitoring the use of a pressure container system of a piece of equipment, such as a motor vehicle, is designed to ascertain equipment-side usage data relating to previous use of the pressure container system. The device is additionally designed to compare the equipment-side usage data with equipment-external usage data relating to the previous use of the pressure container system and to initiate one or more measures relating to further use of the pressure container system on the basis of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20230187649
Abstract: A lithium ion battery includes a cathode having a composite cathode active material, and an anode having an anode active material, where the composite cathode active material has at least a first and a second cathode active material. The first and the second cathode active materials each are selected from the group consisting of layered oxides, compounds having an olivine structure, compounds having a spinel structure, and combinations thereof. The first cathode active material has a degree of lithiation a and the second cathode active material has a degree of lithiation b, where a<1, b<1, and |a?b|<0.1 before a first discharging process and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery. The anode active material is pre-lithiated before the first discharging process and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery. A method for manufacturing is also described.

  • Publication number: 20230016431
Abstract: A lithium ion battery includes a cathode, which has a composite cathode active material, and an anode, which has an anode active material. The composite cathode active material includes at least a first and a second cathode active material, wherein the second cathode active material is a compound having an olivine structure, and wherein at least a lithiation degree of the first cathode active material differs from a lithiation degree of the second cathode active material. Prior to electrolyte filling or the first discharging and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery, the lithiation degree of the first cathode active material is higher than the lithiation degree of the second cathode active material. Prior to electrolyte filling or the first discharging and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery, the anode active material is pre-lithiated. A method for producing a lithium ion battery of this kind is also described.

  • Publication number: 20220416226
Abstract: A lithium ion battery includes a cathode having a composite cathode active material and an anode having an anode active material. The composite cathode active material includes at least one first and one second cathode active material, wherein the second cathode active material is a compound having a spinel structure and wherein at least a lithiation degree of the first cathode active material differs from a lithiation degree of the second cathode active material. A degree of lithiation a of the first cathode active material is higher than a degree of lithiation b of the second cathode active material before electrolyte filling and before the first discharging and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery. The anode active material is pre-lithiated before the electrolyte filling and the first discharging and/or charging process of the lithium ion battery. A method for producing such a lithium ion battery is also described.

  • Patent number: 6856244
Abstract: An identification device for retrofitting a child seat is provided for detecting the child seat on a vehicle seat in a motor vehicle by means of a child seat detection device. A transceiver component, connected to a control and evaluation device, for transmitting an electromagnetic transmission signal and for receiving an electromagnetic reception signal, is arranged as part the child seat detection device in the vehicle seat or in the direct vicinity of the vehicle seat. The reception of the transmission signal in the identification device causes transmission of the reception signal. The identification device has external wiring. By means of a defined mechanical manipulation which brings about a defined change in the external wiring, the identification device can be changed from an inactive initial state to an active state.

  • Publication number: 20040089758
Abstract: Method for actuating a reversible belt pretensioner for pretensioning a belt webbing, unwinding from a belt reel, of a seat belt in a motor vehicle, the belt pretensioner having a drive which acts on the belt reel, and the seat belt having, as a belt extraction lock, a locking device which acts on the belt reel in the unwinding direction and whose locking can be released only if the belt reel is rotated through a specific angle of rotation in the winding-on direction. After the triggering of the belt pretensioner, the drive of the belt pretensioner for opening the locking device is actuated in an opening mode in such a way that firstly, in a winding-on phase, the belt reel rotates through the specific angle of rotation in the winding-on direction. In a subsequent holding phase, the drive of the belt pretensioner is actuated for a predefinable holding time TH in such a way that the belt reel is held in its angular position.
