Abstract: An apparatus for configuring a gasket material to function with a plurality differently configured track systems, the system including a housing, an opening in the housing through which a gasket material is placed and is moved through, a receiving area through a side of the housing, a cutting device configured with a blade to extend through the receiving area and into the opening, and a slideable cam to define a reach of the blade within the opening.

Abstract: A safety release mechanism for releasing a trunk lid of an automobile from within the trunk, the trunk lid including a latch for engaging a staple adapted for mounting on a standard inside the trunk of the automobile, comprises a single threaded attachment element for coupling the staple to the standard. The attachment element has an enlarged handle positioned for grasping by a person's hand from within the trunk for rotating the attachment element to release the staple from the standard.

Abstract: A safety hasp (10) is attached to a door (14) and a door frame (16) of a walk-in cooler by threading a rod (35) from inside the cooler, through a bore (34) in door (14) into an aperture (37) of a hasp hinge plate (25) or staple plate (29). The trailing end of rod (35) has a handle (38) which can be turned to release hasp (10) for unlocking door (14) from inside the cooler. Handle (38) has a disc portion (39) including an illuminator (40) for providing temporary "emergency" lighting.
