    Abstract: A method is provided for checking the compliance of a Bluetooth device for testing, wherein the interface for the Logic Link Control and Adaptation Protocol (L2CAP) with higher layers of the Bluetooth protocol stack is tested, with the L2CAP being placed in a test mode via a Bluetooth message such that messages for higher layers are diverted to a test device.
