  • Patent number: 8093524
Abstract: The present invention is an electrical switchgear unit in a case and including at least one stationary contact and at least one movable contact supported by a contact support shaft, an opening and/or closing mechanism of the movable contact(s) fitted in a support, the mechanism including a manual operating handle of the contact(s) rotatable around a toggle pin of the case, and a high-speed closing shaft designed to keep the movable contact(s) in the open position, at the beginning of manual closing of the handle and over a certain travel, by storing energy and to release the movable contact(s) after travel of the handle so that the stored energy causes high-speed closing of the contacts.

  • Publication number: 20090127085
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical switchgear unit housed in a case and comprising at least one stationary contact and at least one movable contact supported by a contact support shaft, an opening and/or closing mechanism of the movable contact(s) fitted in a support, said mechanism comprising a manual operating handle of the contact(s) fitted rotating around a toggle pin of the case, and a shaft called high-speed closing shaft designed to keep the movable contact(s) in the open position, at the beginning of the manual closing operation of the handle and over a certain travel of the latter, by storing energy and to release the movable contact(s) after this travel of the handle so that the stored energy causes high-speed closing of the contacts.

  • Patent number: 7205499
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for fixing a shield in a switch, said switch being housed in an enclosure comprising a cylindrical part closed by two end parts forming covers, said cylindrical part being connected at its two free ends respectively to the two end covers and comprising one or more cylindrical insulators mechanically connected to one another, at least one shield for protection of the insulators being supported by a cylindrical ring fixed between two of the above-mentioned mechanically connected parts of the enclosure, at the level of the mechanical connection between these two parts. This device is characterized in that the above-mentioned shield comprises on its external surface at least one localized material spinning point, arranged in such a way as to form at least one bearing point of the shield on the ring, so as to achieve stopping of the shield in translation in a direction parallel to the axis of the enclosure.
