Abstract: An actuation device for a sanitary fitting for the purpose of triggering a function, comprises a housing having a side face, and a sensor unit arranged at least partially in the housing having an emitter for emitting light waves and a receiver for detecting the light waves reflected by a user, a transmission region, through which the light waves can be delivered and the reflected light waves can be received, respectively, being arranged in the side face, and the actuation device furthermore comprising an optical unit, the optical unit being configured and arranged in such a way that the light waves from the emitter can be input into the optical unit and can be output from the optical unit at an angle as seen with respect to the horizontal through the transmission region.

Abstract: A flushing device for a urinal comprises a connection unit and a control unit, wherein the connection unit can be fixed to the urinal and the control unit can be connected to the connection unit via an interface. The connection unit comprises a connection pipe with an inlet, for connection to a mains system, and an outlet, a flushing pipe with an inlet and an outlet for connection to a nozzle arrangement for discharging flushing water into the urinal bowl of the urinal, and a support element on which the outlet of the connection pipe and the inlet of the flushing pipe are mounted in a fixed position. The control unit comprises a support element on which are arranged at least one control element, a pipe section with an inlet and an outlet and a flushing valve, which is arranged between the inlet and outlet and has a power-supply element.

Abstract: A flushing device (1) for a sanitary article (2), in particular a urinal or a toilet, said flushing device comprising a control unit (3), and a flushing valve (4) that can be controlled by means of the control unit (3) for controlling a flushing procedure, wherein a fluid for flushing or for cleaning the sanitary article (2) is introduced during a flushing procedure, wherein it is possible by means of the control unit (3) to predetermine a flushing regime for the flush activation. The control unit (3) further comprises a temperature sensor (5) for detecting the ambient temperature (T), wherein the temperature sensor (5) is connected by way of a data channel (7) to the control unit (3) and wherein the flushing regime can be adjusted on the basis of the ambient temperature (T).

Abstract: A method for setting at least one parameter on an actuation element (1) for triggering a function, in particular flushing, on a sanitary system, wherein the actuation element (1) comprises at least two actuation sensors (2, 3) for detecting an input of a user and at least two optical display elements (4, 5). The actuation element (1) is transferred from an operating mode (B) into a setting mode (E), in which said parameters can be set, with the simultaneous activation of at least two actuation sensors (2, 3) over a preset time interval (T1).

The operating plate (1) is transparent or translucent for human visible and infrared light wavelengths and provides at least one indication surface region (42, 43). The indication surface region has a partially transmissive coating (22, 23), behind which are one or more light sources (10, 11) emitting light that is visible to the human eye. At least one signal-transmitter surface region (21) is provided with a coating that is non-transmissive for light that is visible to the human eye and is transparent or translucent for infrared wavelengths, behind which light sources (20), which emit one or more infrared wavelengths, are arranged.

Abstract: An actuating and display plate for a flushing device consists of a non-conductive transparent material, wherein the plate has at least one viewing window, behind which are disposed: an infrared light source, a proximity sensor, which works on a light-reflection basis and is sensitive to the wavelength zone and with which the flushing device can be triggered, and a display light source within the visible light zone. On the plate is provided a back coating, which has a transmission in the range between 2 percent and 15 percent for the visible light zone (22) and a transmission of more than 60 percent for the near-infrared light zone (24).
