  • Patent number: 8798921
Abstract: A system for presenting information regarding an object provided within a plurality of information sources to a user or a presentation means depending on a location of the user or the presentation means includes a means for determining the location, a means for selecting the information to be presented depending on the determined location and on one or several pre-settable selection criteria defining an information source from the plurality of information sources, and a means for outputting the information to be presented.

  • Patent number: 7147146
Abstract: In a system comprising a transmitter, a receiver, and a module, a communication object is transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver which comprises a payload data block containing data for generation of a command to the chip module obeying a communication protocol specific for the chip module, and a parameter block comprising at least one instruction which defines how the generation of the command to the chip module is to be performed, thereby facilitating a control and change of the communication protocol between the receiver and the module.

  • Patent number: 7130645
Abstract: A method for providing an information unit to a user is described, wherein the information unit describes an object having a predetermined spatial relationship to the user. The method includes detecting a kind of movement or a position of the user. Depending on the detected kind of movement or the position of the user, a geographic selection criterion is adjusted, wherein, depending on the predetermined spatial relationship of object to user, the geographic selection criterion specifies whether the information unit is provided or not. If a location of the user is located such with respect to a geographic position of the user that the geographic selection criterion is met, the information unit for the object is reproduced. An advantage is that the concept may be employed in applications in which the user gets into different environments and situations which, in turn, require different geographic selection criteria.

  • Publication number: 20050078702
Abstract: A device for controlling the communication in a system comprises a transmitter, a receiver and a chip module. The transmitter and the receiver are communicatively connected. The chip module is communicatively connected to the receiver and is inserted in the same. The device includes a generator for generating a communication object. The communication object comprises a parameter block in which at least one instruction is defined which defines how the communication between the receiver and the module is to be performed. The communication object further comprises a payload data block in which data is defined causing a communication between the receiver and the chip module. The device further includes a means for transferring the communication object from the transmitter to the receiver.

  • Patent number: 6584138
Abstract: In a coding method and a coder for introducing a non-audible data signal into an audio signal, the audio signal is first transformed to a spectral range and the masking threshold of the audio signal is determined. A pseudo-noise signal and a data signal are provided and multiplied with each other so a to provide a frequency-spread data signal. The spread data signal is weighted with the masking threshold, and thereafter the audio signal and the weighted data signal are superimposed. In a method and a decoder for decoding a data signal introduced into an audio signal in non-audible manner, the audio signal is first sampled and thereafter the sampled audio signal is filtered in non-recursive manner. The filtered audio signal is subsequently compared to a threshold value so as to retrieve the data signal.
