  • Patent number: 7344435
Abstract: A hand-held power tool (10) is specified, comprising a work spindle (12) for driving a tool (68), said tool (68) being fastenable between a fastening element (38) and a holding portion (36) on a tool end of the work spindle (12), and a displacement device (24) for sliding the fastening element (38) between a released position in which the fastening element (38) can be detached from the work spindle (12) and a clamped position in which the fastening element (38) is clamped against the holding portion (36) by a spring element (48). The fastening element (38) includes a clamping shaft (42) that is insertable into the work spindle (12) and held in the clamped position by a lock assembly (54) inside the work spindle (12), and which can be removed when in the released position (FIG. 2).

  • Patent number: 6926595
Abstract: An oscillatory drive comprising a rotating drive shaft is disclosed. The oscillatory drive is driven by an eccentric element that is coupled via a pivot element to a tool drive shaft arranged at an angle to the drive shaft for oscillatingly driving the tool drive shaft pivoting back and forth about its longitudinal axis. The eccentric element comprises a spherical outer ring which is guided within an at least partially cylindrical inner surface of the pivot element. By spring biasing the free end of the pivot element at both outer sides against the housing, efficiency is improved and vibrations are reduced.

  • Patent number: 6865813
Abstract: A tool is disclosed having a holder provided with a mounting opening for mounting on a drive shaft, which may be driven in oscillating fashion, and having further a fixture for mounting a working element. The working element comprises at least two holding sections, spaced one from the other in tangential direction to the mounting opening, and wherein a mounting plate is provided which is engaged by releasable securing elements that coact with the holding sections for clamping the working element against the holder.

  • Patent number: 6470772
Abstract: A new saw blade and a method of manufacturing such a saw blade are disclosed. The saw blade is made from a hardenable steel sheet in one piece and comprises a plain cutting blade from which a cranked mounting part, having a central mounting opening, protrudes. To manufacture such saw blades, blanks are cut out from a hardenable steel sheet and subsequently deep-drawn to provide the cranked mounting part. The mounting openings may be produced by stamping, thereafter. A plurality of such blanks is stacked over each other and clamped in a fixture, subsequently annealed for recrystallization and austenization and quenched thereafter, to harden the blanks. Finally, saw teeth are provided along the outer edges of the cutting blades.
