  • Publication number: 20150360331
Abstract: An apparatus for assembling a composite arrangement including a plurality of functional elements each having an aperture for a shaft, in a predetermined angular position on the shaft, may include a plurality of retaining devices each intended for accommodating a functional element. The retaining devices may be arranged vertically one above another such that the apertures of the functional elements may lie on a vertical line. The apparatus may also include a vertically movable guide slide for the shaft so that a joining of the shaft with the functional elements may take place in a vertical direction. The apparatus may also include a heating device by which at least two functional elements may be heated simultaneously. The apparatus may further include a gripping device by which at least two functional elements which are to be joined may be removed together from the heating device and introduced into the retaining devices.

  • Publication number: 20140196552
Abstract: A device for positioning multiple function elements having a recess for receiving a shaft in a predetermined angle position may include multiple mountings for receiving the function elements. The mountings may be equipped with a moulding establishing the predetermined angle position of the respective function element corresponding to the angle position on the shaft. The mountings may be positioned such that the recesses of the function elements lie on a common straight line. The mountings may be arranged vertically on top of one another so that the common straight line runs in vertical direction. A vertically moveable guide carriage for the shaft may be provided for joining the shaft with the function elements in vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 7610890
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to provide a reliable and inexpensive camshaft wherein the inner shaft and the outer shaft can be adjusted in a low-friction manner. For this purpose, a camshaft with cams that can be rotated in relation to each other, wherein at least one first cam (3) is rotatably received on the outer shaft (1), is permanently connected to the inner shaft (2) via at least one radial opening in the outer shaft (1). Means (10) for connecting a camshaft rotational drive are provided at the axial ends of the camshaft. The camshaft is also provided with a rotational drive (9) exerting radial supporting forces onto the camshaft.

  • Patent number: 7458880
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for grinding of cam profiles on a camshaft (1), having an inner shaft (5) and an outer shaft (4) arranged coaxially one inside the other and mounted to rotate with respect to one another. The camshaft (1) additionally has first and second cams (2, 3) that can rotate with respect to one another over a limited circumferential angle about the camshaft axis (6), the first cams (2) of which are fixedly connected to the inner shaft (5) and the second cams (3) of which are fixedly connected to the outer shaft (4). It is essential to this invention that during and/or after the grinding operation a fluid is forced under pressure into the outer shaft (4), thereby preventing penetration of grinding dust into the interspace (8) between the first cams (2) and the outer shaft (4) or flushing out any grinding dust that has already penetrated.

  • Patent number: 4633987
Abstract: Pressure-medium actuated shifting arrangement for a gear transmission, primarily for a multispeed transmission, in which the speed selection lever performs a movement in accordance with a double H shifting configuration. Within the reach of the driver, in a shift console another transmission shaft is mounted, which is displaced by the speed selection lever for path selection and twisted for gear shifting. The transmission shaft has also cams and valves cooperating with a pressure-medium source over the selection cylinder and shift cylinder mounted to the gear box which actuate a gear-shift-lever shaft, whereby not only the desired shift couplings are put into effect, but also feedback information about the shifting situation in the transmission perceptible by the driver is conveyed.
