  • Patent number: 7842269
Abstract: Pyrogenically prepared silicon dioxide is compacted to give crusts, in that it is subject to preliminary de-aeration, and is compacted to give crusts, and the crusts are broken and, if appropriate, classified. The tamped bulk density (to DIN EN ISO 787-11) of the silicon dioxide compacted to give crusts is from 185 to 700 g/l. It can be used as filler in rubber mixtures.

  • Patent number: 7717901
Abstract: An instrument for performing liposuction with a longitudinally extended rod-shaped part that, at its rear end, has a handle and a front end piece for partially introducing the rod-shaped part under the skin at a site to be treated. The rod-shaped part is, at least over a portion of its length, provided with a roughened surface. This enables the rod-shaped part to be partially introduced under the skin at the site that has already been treated with a suction instrument. At this location, the rod-shaped part can, with its roughened surface, simultaneously distribute the remaining fatty layer remnants or to remove these remnants from the remaining tissue by means of a to-and-fro movement in the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20060241567
Abstract: An instrument for performing liposuction is provided with a longitudinally extended rod-shaped part (2) that, at its rear end, has a handle (3) and a front end piece (4) for partially introducing the rod-shaped part (2) under the skin at the site to be treated. The rod-shaped part (2) is, at least over a portion of its length, provided with a roughened surface (5). This enables the rod-shaped part to be partially introduced under the skin at the site that has already been treated with the suction instrument. At this location, the rod-shaped part can, with its roughened surface, simultaneously distribute the remaining fatty layer remnants or to remove these remnants from the remaining tissue by means of a to-and-fro movement in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 6860301
Abstract: An apparatus for filling containers, said apparatus comprising a feed nozzle which may be placed over the feed orifice of the container, the feed nozzle being so constructed that the solids may be introduced under pressure and the container being surrounded by a cage, as well as a process for filling containers, in particular with finely divided solids having a high air content by arranging an air-permeable large container in an apparatus according to the invention, air-tight connection of the large container to the feed nozzle, filling of the container under pressure, removal of the filled container and container with air-permeable plies.

  • Patent number: 6096173
Abstract: A method of producing hydrogen cyanide by the gas-phase reaction of methane with ammonia at elevated temperature and an ammonia/methane ratio of 1.001 to 1.1. The conducting of the gaseous reaction mixture through a corona discharge causes the reaction to start at temperatures below 1000.degree. C. without the action of a catalyst. This results in considerable savings of the necessary investment expenses as well as of the running costs for energy.

  • Patent number: 5746347
Abstract: An apparatus and method for dispensing fine particle material from a container such as a flexible intermediate bulk container. The invention includes a dispensing assembly that has a dispensing device that is secured to an outlet tube of the container. Securement is achieved by a strap member wrapped about the container's outlet tube and a clamping casing and/or by an inflatable member that expands outward from the clamping casing. The casing surrounds a transport tube which is axially shiftable following securement of the clamping casing to the outlet tube. A head piece with gas cavity and radial and oblique extending ports is provided at the end of the transport tube. The dispensing device is inserted into the outlet tube below a blocking member provided at the base of the outlet tube. Following attachment of the outlet tube to the clamping casing, the blocking member is released. The transport tube is then released from a first position, shifted and then fixed in a second position.

  • Patent number: 5458264
Abstract: A tube device for emptying powdery substance from a container in which an air connection pipe is arranged. The air exit opening of the air connection pipe is located coaxially to the tube in the direction of the interior of the tube. The opening of the tube is cut open on a slant to form an angle of less than 90.degree. with the horizontal axis of the pipe.
