  • Publication number: 20230400105
Abstract: A valve, in particular of an extrusion blow moulding machine or a stretch blow moulding machine for manufacturing hollow bodies, has a movable piston, a process fluid region and a compensation chamber. The piston has a free front face which faces the process fluid region with a circumferential outer sealing region. At least one connecting channel connects the process fluid region to the compensation chamber. The free front face of the piston has an elevation, which is surrounded by the outer sealing region. The elevation protrudes over the outer circumferential sealing region. The valve permits a rapid and precisely timed opening.

  • Publication number: 20220347910
Abstract: A device of a blow-moulding apparatus for moulding hollow bodies, in particular a stretch blow-moulding machine, is disclosed. The device includes a housing block with a through-bore, at least one valve with a movable piston and with a valve chamber, a first channel which runs in the housing block and which connects the valve chamber to the through-bore, a second channel which connects the valve chamber to an external line, and a cover for fastening the valve to the housing block. The valve connects the first channel and the second channel to one another and separates them from one another. The second channel runs at least partially in the cover and/or at least one part of the valve chamber is arranged in the cover and surrounds the piston. The device is small and compact and the valves may be replaced in a simple manner.

  • Publication number: 20160158994
Abstract: A valve arrangement is provided having a main valve having a switching piston guided in a valve housing, which switching piston can be moved relative to the valve housing between a first position, in which the main valve is closed, and a second position, in which the main valve is open. A control surface of the switching piston may transfer a control force onto the switching piston. At least one bore connecting a control air switching chamber to the control chamber in terms of flow may introduce control air into the control chamber for closing the main valve, and may vent the control chamber when opening the main valve. A control air bore may introduce control air to the control air switching chamber, in which a venting bore terminating in the control air switching chamber may be provided to vent the control chamber when the main valve is opened.
