Abstract: The present trolley is suitable for accommodating and conveying containers and apparatus for the commercial cleaning and disinfecting of floors and other surfaces, and as a collector for valuable substances and for other tasks involved in the commercial cleaning of buildings. The trolley has a base plate and substantially vertically aligned uprights. The base plate comprises at least one downwardly projecting shaft which is suitable for accommodating the uprights, and is additionally connected by struts to the underside of the base plate. The danger of breakage at the points where the uprights are secured to the base plate is considerably reduced.

Abstract: A cleaning vehicle which is suitable for holding and transporting containers and devices for the commercial cleaning and disinfection of floors and other surfaces, consists of a main vehicle with wheels and a trailer with wheels and a coupling for connecting the trailer to the main vehicle. The coupling consists of at least one tow-hook and corresponding eyes in which the hook can engage. The shape of the hook and eyes is such that the coupling allows the trailer to rotate about the connecting line of the eyes of the main vehicle and/or the vertical movement of the trailer in relation to the main vehicle, but no movement of the trailer in the plane of travel in relation to the main vehicle. The wheels of the main vehicle do not lock when taking curves and are stable even on uneven surfaces. At the same time the trailer can be properly steered by the main vehicle without any undesired movements of the trailer. The improvement is also simple and economical.

Abstract: A mop head for washing or wiping floors is adapted to fit on a mop holder having two plastic flaps which can be folded back upon each other, whereby the mop head includes securing members for securing it to one end of one flap of the mop holder, with the mop head further including a fabric layer having a pouch on one short side, and a strap on the other short side, whereby the strap can be tightly stretched on the one flap end via the securing members.

Abstract: In a mop head which can be fitted on a mop holder having two flaps which can be folded back upon each other, with the mop head including two pouches on its upper side, and an additional securing device allocated to one pouch, a system is provided to facilitate the securing of the strap to the end of the flap in the locked position of use.

Abstract: An applicator or absorption cover for the head of a wet floor mop includes a textile support with holder insert-pockets sewn on the upper-side at opposite longitudinal ends, and with sponge-cloth or non-woven cloth material with high liquid take-up capacity being arranged as the underside material in the form of several strips in juxtaposed rows, with each of the strips attached over the area on the support, to take up dirt and liquids.

Abstract: A mobile cleaner apparatus comprising a container for a cleaning preparation and an associated pressure pump which are integrated into a mobile and steerable chassis. The chassis has a steering handle and a holder for a removable suction unit equipped with an integrated soil container. A coupling means is provided for detachably fastening to the chassis a spray nozzle and suction nozzle unit having its own roller. The spray nozzle and suction nozzle unit is displaceable laterally on either side of the apparatus. The spray nozzle is suitable for applying a cleaning preparation to a surface to be cleaned, for example, a floor, and the suction nozzle is suitable for sucking up the applied cleaning preparation.

Abstract: A floor wiper formed from two frame portions which are pivotal with respect to each other, and adapted to be locked by magnetic means, having a pedal disposed on one frame portion, and engaging the other, which pedal is adapted to disengage the magnetic locking means.

Abstract: An improved frame for a floor wiper consisting of two frame members (1,2) designed to fold towards on another about a pivot pin (3) and to be locked in their fully extended or open position by means of a locking mechanism (4,5) is simplified in its construction and can be made with a minimum of material and component parts providing one frame member (1) has a T-shape and the other frame members (2) a U-shape which makes with the T a substantially rectangular plate and providing the pivot pin (3) extends substantially perpendicularly of the longitudinal axis of the T and U arms (10,15) and providing the locking mechanism contains a permanent-magnet clamp (4,5). To reduce the volume and weight of the permanent magnet (4), the force arm (K) on which the magnetic force acts is intended to be as long as possible.

Abstract: A flat press for squeezing fluid out of a moist element which is attached to a support has a base provided with a plurality of throughholes for allowing discharge of the fluid and a cover movable towards the base so as to be pressed thereagainst. For squeezing or pressing out, the elements are introduced between the base and the cover together with the support. In order to provide a higher degree of dryness during the pressing, the base and if necessary the cover are provided with a lining of elastic material, for example of foam rubber.
