  • Patent number: 4862191
Abstract: In a vehicle operation recorder for motor vehicles, the recording devices are permanently undetachably connected to the display devices, the diagram chart carrier is arranged in a separate compartment of the casing which is offset laterally or rearwardly in relation to the main instrument dial, and the marker pens are arranged above the diagram chart in likewise laterally offset relation to the main instrument dial and are connected to the recording devices by a rigid bridge member.

  • Patent number: 4720820
Abstract: Clock, having three or four hand systems at right angles to each other about a clock movement vertical axis and whose hand system axes are horizontal and intersect the vertical axis, each hand system coaxially including a minute hand shaft and crown gear and an hour hand shaft and crown gear, with the minute crown gears meshing with a common minute transmission gear and the hour crown gears meshing with a common hour transmission gear in the manner of angle gears, the transmission gears being coaxial to the vertical axis and driven by corresponding clock movement shafts, the corresponding crown gears and transmission gears respectively having the same number of teeth and of tooth profile like that of a in which the teeth in mutual engagement have a profile displacement or V-plus gear, and each transmission gear having a diameter larger by at least double the tooth depth than the diameter of the corresponding crown gears; and clock related rotary dummy pendulum, four face clock support cube like shape hollow p

  • Patent number: 4507963
Abstract: A tachograph assembly including a casing and a cover member pivotally mounted on the casing with a first pivotal bearing member being formed on a first part of the cover member and a second pivotal bearing member being formed on a casing extension which, together with the cover member, forms the front face of the tachograph assembly in a generally common plane. The second bearing member has an outer radius which corresponds to the inner radius of the first bearing member and a bearing spindle in the form of an elongated lip is formed on the second part of the cover member for engagement with the second bearing member to enable pivotal motion of the cover member relative to the casing. The first part of the cover member includes alignment elements which operate in cooperation with corresponding elements in the casing to align the cover member within the casing when the cover is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 4365867
Abstract: This invention relates to an electrically operated adjustable apparatus for a motor vehicle rear view mirror having a mirror casing, and included therein, a mirror support to which the mirror casing is connected via a first fixed junction point, and on a straight line through this first junction point and parallel thereto are two more junction points, the distance between the mirror casing and mirror support being electrically variable. The first fixed junction point is arranged to be very far from both further junction points, making a stable housing of the mirror support possible. Since both of the further junction points can be arranged on a small edge of the mirror support beside one another, it is possible to design the means for driving of both the two further junction points on the side of the mirror support which permits the mirror housing to be flat. The driving means are located preferably in a side housing unit in the vicinity where the mirror housing is connected with the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4282596
Abstract: A switching off device for an alarm clock having a case with a two-part casing in which the front edge, preferably a locking hook of one casing part, can be connected with a locking means, preferably a depression on the top of the clock. A switching off mechanism is associated with the locking means and is operated when pressure is exerted on the top of one casing part. The locking means is arranged on a slide which projects beyond the upper contour of the clock in one position thereof in which the alarm is operating.

  • Patent number: 4228533
Abstract: An autonomously operating pendulum mechanism, adapted to be attached as a unit to a clockwork, comprises a supporting plate adapted to be attached to a clockwork casing in overlying spaced relationship to the front face of the casing. The supporting plate is fastened to the casing by a fastening device which is concentric with the spindles for the clock hands and through which said spindles may project to the exterior of the plate. A pivot bearing is provided on the supporting plate vertically above the spindles adjacent the upper edge of the casing, and the lower edge of the supporting plate carries a circuit board having an electrically energizable coil thereon located immediately below the clockwork casing comprising a portion of an electrical drive mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4043118
Abstract: A battery-powered clockwork mechanism and a separate pendulum unit which is detachably connected to the clockwork mechanism. When so connected the pendulum device is powered by the battery in the clockwork mechanism but operates as a "blind" pendulum which does not control or affect the time-keeping function of the clockwork mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4004408
Abstract: There is provided an alarm clock of the type which produces an electric signal and which operates in conjunction with an auxiliary device. The clock comprises first circuit means having first switch means for producing and cancelling the signal, and second circuit means having second switch means for switching the auxiliary device on and off. A single spring contact forms a common switch member of said first and second switch means. The advantage gained hereby is that the number of switches normally required to produce and cancel said signal and to energize and de-energize said auxiliary device is reduced.
