Abstract: Device for locking and unlocking a cutting head frame on the housing of a dry shaver, with up ramps and down ramps provided on the cutting head frame as guide means for locking elements located in the housing.

Abstract: Dry shaver with an auxiliary frame displaceably insertable in the direction of the lower cutter, said frame being retained via spring-tensioned locking means in the end cheeks of a shaver housing or of a cutting head frame, and unlocked and removed in the removal direction by unlocking buttons, which act on the up ramps provided on the locking means.

Abstract: A housing has a wall constituted by a rigid metal plate formed with an array of throughgoing perforations and by a flexible synthetic-resin sheet overlying the inner face of the rigid wall and having a multiplicity of projections each extending through a respective perforation and beyond the outer surface of the rigid plate. Furthermore the flexible sheet may be inwardly deflectable to actuate a switch in the housing.

Abstract: A dryshaver has a beard cutter and a drive which powers the same. The dryshaver also has a long-hair trimmer and a fist slide on which the trimmer is mounted and which is movable to and from an operating position in which the trimmer is operatively coupled with the drive to be powered by the same. A switch is provided which controls the supply of electrical energy to the drive, and a second slide--mounted on or in the first slide for movement relative to the same--has a projection which activates or de-activates the swtich in dependence upon the movement of the second slide.

Abstract: A dry shaving apparatus has a shearing foil, a reciprocable blade member cooperating with the shearing foil, a pressure spring urging the blade member toward the shearing foil and extending with the former in a first direction, a shearing head frame, and an auxiliary frame insertable into the shearing head frame and mounting the shearing foil so that it is convex. The auxiliary frame is fixed to the shearing foil at one longitudinal side of the former and is resiliently yieldable in the first direction. The auxiliary frame is arrested in the shearing head frame at the ends of the former.

Abstract: A dry shaver includes a housing which has an inner surface which bounds an interior of the housing, receiving an installation of the dry shaver, and an outer exposed surface. A plurality of elastic portions extend outwardly beyond the outer surface at a plurality of locations so as to protect the housing against damage due to scratching and impacts.

Abstract: A watchband is formed of two contiguous strips, an outer nonmetallic strip, normally of a synthetic resin, and an inner metal strip. The metal strip is formed with an array of throughgoing perforations over substantially all of its surface and the nonmetallic strip is formed with a multiplicity of bosses each projecting through a respective perforation and extending beyond the inner face of the metal strip so that the band will rest via these bosses against the skin of the wearer.

Abstract: A container for storing objects comprises a pair of spaced container sections and a hinge structure connected between the sections. Each of these sections is pivotably mounted on the hinge structure so that it is turnable in a path through a full 360.degree. revolution about a respective imaginary axis which extends generally in direction transversely of the path. The hinge structure includes a plurality of spur gears, and one of the gears has a set of teeth aligned so as to extend transversely of the path of movement and another of the gears has a different set of teeth which is inclined relative to said first-mentioned set so as to frictionally retain the container sections at any selected position relative to each other in the path. It is preferred if the container is generally box-shaped for storing such objects as electric shavers and other analogous shaving accessories.
