  • Patent number: 6786034
Abstract: A flow machine is shown with a compressor and at least one turbine, and in which an air intake booster is arranged in an intake duct of the compressor, and an exhaust gas booster is arranged in an exhaust gas duct of the at least one turbine. In operation of the flow machine, the individual booster stages are operated, singly or in combination, in dependence on the specific operating conditions. The flow machine and the associated operating process make possible an economical mode of operation of the flow machine.

  • Patent number: 5701731
Abstract: A combined installation configured as a single-shaft installation with common shafting (1) consists essentially of a gas turbine, a steam turbine, the generator (10), which is located between them, and the associated auxiliary systems (12). The generator (10) and the associated auxiliary systems (12) are arranged on a slab (8) which can be displaced transverse to the common shafting (1).

  • Patent number: 4267037
Abstract: An apparatus and method for separating waste material contained in a heap in at least one separating zone, the heap largely comprising particles of the same shape, size and density, from which the waste particles differ. It also relates to apparatus for performing the method. The heap is fed onto an inclined conveying surface where it is vibrated and the waste particles are removed upwards and the remaining particles downwards, the vibrations being initiated at an angle to the horizontal which is larger than the inclined position of the conveying surface.
