  • Patent number: 12119752
Abstract: In order to balance the thermal stress of the switches (S1-S4) of the two legs of an inverter full bridge (4), the driving signals are generated using an up-down counter having a modulation period Tmod of twice the period T of the input voltage (Vin). The up-down counter has a first compare value (41) of D/4 and a second compare value (42) of (2+D)/4, where D is the duty cycle and where the second half bridge is phase shifted by the period T.

  • Publication number: 20230077388
Abstract: Full bridge converter-circuit having a H-bridge, comprising a control circuit for operating the H-bridge in a first operation mode or a second operation mode, wherein the control circuit is configured that between switching from the first operation mode to the second operation mode a morphing operation mode is applied in which a positive inverter voltage pulse length on a first half-bridge of the H-bridge is determined on the basis of a negative inverter voltage pulse length on a second half-bridge of the H-bridge.

  • Publication number: 20030197148
Abstract: A globe valve, with a valve chamber 1 which has a flow line that may be shut off by a plug actuatable by an axially adjustable valve spindle, wherein the plug in the shutoff position rests forming a seal against a valve seat oriented obliquely to the direction of flow, characterized in that the nominal width and face-to-face dimension of the valve chamber match the dimensions defined by the standards for valves and fittings of the sandwich design.

  • Patent number: 6059998
Abstract: A process for the preparation of a static dissipative material from a substrate material formed of a thermoformable polymeric matrix of low electrical conductivity. The substrate material is contacted with a solution of an aniline-based monomeric or oligomeric conductant which is selected from the group consisting of aniline and substituted aniline components. The aniline-based conductant is dissolved in a solvent and maintained in contact with the substrate material for a period of time to permit at least partial infusion of the conductant into the polymeric matrix. Subsequent to the contact step, the substrate material is subjected to a curing step in which the aniline-based segments introduced into the polymeric matrix are at least partially polymerized. The polymerization of the infused aniline segments can be carried out in an oxidizing environment or by subjecting the infused substrate material with electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet range.

  • Patent number: 5904338
Abstract: A valve, includes a housing formed with a valve seat and having an inlet port and an outlet port; and a shut-off member positioned in a passageway between the inlet port and outlet port and so adjustable as to enable a separation of the inlet port and the outlet port from one another when seated on the valve seat, wherein the valve seat exhibits a seat surface which is so inclined in circumferential direction that intersections of diametrically opposed tangents constructed on the seat surface of the valve seat define an area.

  • Patent number: 5716551
Abstract: A U.V. curable composition for application to a substrate surface to provide a static dissipative coating which comprises a conductive matrix constituent having a crown type ligand selected from the group consisting of podands, coronands and cryptands in a guest/host relationship with a conductive dopant moiety. Such ligands included those provided by functionalized podands and functionalized coronands. The formulation further includes a polymer matrix constituent formed of a base oligomer system and a crosslinking agent which is reactive with the base oligomer system to form a crosslinked resin matrix which incorporates the conductive matrix constituent. A low viscosity diluent functions as a solvating liquid for the crosslinking agent and the base oligomer system. The formulation further includes a photoinitiator of the free radical or cationic type to initiate polymerization of the composition upon the application of electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet range.

  • Patent number: 5705463
Abstract: A composition and method for the removal of ionic salt deposits from a surface using an organic solvent of low polarity and a complexing agent. The complexing agent is chosen from a group which includes podands, cryptands, and coronands. The method provides nearly complete removal of ionic salt deposits with a single washing of the surface with the low polar cleaning mixture.
