  • Publication number: 20230373289
Abstract: A modular system is provided for an energy storage device floor assembly for an electrically operatable passenger car, including a cross-design variant floor assembly which has a main floor and a rear floor. In a first design variant for a passenger car with a solely electric drive, an energy storage device is provided which extends both below the main floor as well as the rear floor, and in a second design variant for a passenger car with a hybrid drive, an energy storage device, which extends solely below the main floor, and a fuel tank, which extends below the rear floor, are provided. A method is disclosed for producing such an energy storage device floor assembly.

  • Publication number: 20230294626
Abstract: A structural component made of a plastics material for a skin of a body of a motor vehicle has a separating line that separates the structural component into an inner region and an outer region. The inner region has three-dimensional regions having reduced material thickness for defined pivotability with a reduced force requirement. The design means that a significantly lower force requirement is needed for opening or closing the inner region.

  • Publication number: 20230052420
Abstract: Please substitute the new Abstract submitted herewith for the original Abstract: A front-end structure for a vehicle has a wheelhouse, a rocker panel, a support carrier which is connected to the wheelhouse and the rocker panel and which extends at an angle, an A-pillar, a door flange and a connecting portion connecting the A-pillar to the door flange. The connecting portion extends, at least in portions, substantially parallel to the support carri er.

  • Publication number: 20220176791
Abstract: A stored energy source for a motor vehicle has a bottom plate, by which battery modules in question are at least indirectly supported and by which the stored energy source is delimited at the bottom. In order to provide a stored energy source that is optimized with respect to its behavior during an accident and with respect to the vehicle package and does not require any installation space in the interior of the motor vehicle, the stored energy source has at least one line, which runs above the bottom plate and exits the stored energy source at a front and a rear end.

  • Publication number: 20220017152
Abstract: An energy storage underbody is provided for a motor car body-in-white in which a vehicle floor is laterally delimited by side sills and is reinforced by side members and/or cross members, and in which an energy storage device is disposed on the underside of the vehicle floor. In order to obtain an energy storage device of particularly simple construction and a particularly economical, stiffened underbody, the energy storage underbody has at least one housing of the energy storage device, the housing being non-loadbearing in terms of the body-in-white, and has at least one additional side member or cross member disposed on the topside of the vehicle floor to reinforce the underbody.
