  • Publication number: 20240166554
Abstract: A system and method for forming a membrane on an immersion tube for an electrochemical sensor comprise a step of providing a first immersion tube having a first opening and a second opening, and an apparatus having a melting system, a positioning system, an imaging apparatus, a pressure supplier, a control system. The melting system includes a heating means and a crucible containing a melt. The positioning system is suitable to move the first immersion tube relative to the crucible, such that the first opening of the first immersion tube is immersed in the melt. The imaging apparatus includes a camera, which is temperature sensitive and is arranged such that it can see the melt. The pressure supplier is connected air tightly with the first opening of the first immersion tube. The control system is connected with the melting system, the positioning system, the imaging apparatus and the pressure supplier.

  • Publication number: 20240043310
Abstract: An apparatus for the automated production of glass assemblies includes: a turning machine with at least two spindles, which are rotatable about a common axis of rotation and which each have a workpiece holder, wherein the workpiece holders are arranged opposite one another; one or more gas burners or lasers fixed on a first tool carriage which is movable in parallel and/or perpendicularly to the axis of rotation; one or more drives for driving a rotational movement of the spindles and a movement of the first tool carriage; a pressure module including a pump device at least one working cylinder for applying a pressure to an inner tube and/or to a space between the inner tube and an outer tube; and a control unit configured to control the burners or lasers, one or more drives, the first tool carriage and the pressure module.

  • Publication number: 20190178833
Abstract: A potentiometric sensor for determining pH, comprising a shaft tube and a glass membrane. The shaft tube and the glass membrane form a first chamber in which an inner electrolyte of the sensor and a discharge element of the sensor are positioned. The sensor also includes a reference element and a reference electrolyte outside the first chamber. The glass membrane and/or a transition region adjoining the glass membrane is produced by a generative process to form a connection between the shaft tube and the glass membrane of the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9910006
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a glass assembly comprises the steps: lowering of a dip pipe that gas may flow through vertically to the surface of a glass melt; determining when the surface of the glass melt is encountered by the dip pipe end showing towards the glass melt by detecting an increase of the gas pressure found inside the dip pipe; continued lowering of the dip pipe until a predetermined depth of entry of the dip pipe end showing towards the glass melt is reached; obtaining a predetermined pressure inside the dip pipe while the dip pipe first stays at the given immersion depth for the given duration and after the predetermined duration is completed, is lifted with a given speed vertically to the surface of the glass melt, thus creating a gas bubble in the glass melt whose walls are attached to the end of the dip pipe; continued lifting of the dip pipe vertically to the surface of the glass melt until the gas bubble is separated from the glass melt, with the wall of the gas bubble remaining at the dip

  • Publication number: 20160176745
Abstract: A method for the automated production of glass objects with a preset wall thickness, comprising: producing a series of glass objects, wherein each one of the glass objects of the series is produced by a process influenced by at least one process parameter; automatic measurement of an actual wall thickness of at least one of the glass objects and comparing the actual wall thickness with a preset target wall thickness; and automatic adjustment of at least one process parameter, based on the comparison of the actual wall thickness with the preset target thickness.
