Abstract: A coil spring shaped stent to reinforce an arterial wall, along a length thereof, where plaque has been removed by a balloon catheter; the stent is of a wire of a suitable material, such as stainless steel or gold, which is sized and configured to define spaced coils; the wire has axially spaced, enlarged bearing portions and a roller between each of the bearing portions to facilitate advancement and withdrawal of the coil spring shaped stent upon final positioning in an artery.

Abstract: A cover structure for a beverage containing can or like container which removably slides over the exterior surface thereof and which is preferably formed from a cardboard or like flexible material which is disposable after one or more uses and which provides ample exposed surface area on the continuous wall structure thereof to provide decorative, informative or other predetermined indicia and further being structured to maintain the bottom of the container in spaced relation to a supporting surface such as a table or the like.

Abstract: A support assembly for a blood vessel or like hollow, substantially tubular organ, structured for insertion within the vessel to provide sufficient support of the vessel to allow closing of an opening in the vessel by suture or other recognized medical technique. The assembly includes a roll formed from a length of strand wound upon itself to form windings which collectively define the elongated configuration of the roll. A roller is mounted for movement circumferentially about the outer surface of the roll within the vessel or like organ. The relative dimension and disposition of the roller and roll in engaging, supporting relation to the inner surface of the vessel defines an operative space therebetween and which extends at least along the length of the roller. Such space is sufficient to allow placement and otherwise manipulation of the suture for purposes of closing an opening in the vessel.

Abstract: For use in vascular surgery a roll of wound strand having an outer predetermined size diameter corresponding to the inside diameter of an opened blood conduit into which it is temporarily inserted with a pigtail of one end of the roll of strand extending from the blood conduit to be used to pull the strand from the roll until the roll is completely removed from the blood conduit after it has been stitched together.
