  • Patent number: 6776558
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for concretizing vertical shafts having a depth of e.g. 500 m or more. The concrete is conveyed to a low-lying application site (20) in the shaft by a concrete column that is situated in a downpipe (30). Delivery of concrete is guaranteed without separation (demixing) or clogging of concrete. The concrete is removed in portions of from the succeeding concrete column at the output end of the downpipe (30), is separated from the concrete column, is depressurized and it subsequently conveyed to the application site.

  • Patent number: 5749678
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for driving a tunnel or drain pipe along a stretch (14) leading from a starting shaft (10) to a target shaft. The device is primarily intended for making micro or mini-tunnels in which pipe sections (62) are pressed one by one into the drive stretch against a frontal driving head (16). For spoil (32) removal there is a worm conveyor engaging in the cutting chamber (26) of the drive head, to the discharge end of which can be fitted in succession a pressuretightly sealable stone trap (36) and the pressuretightly sealable intake side (42) of a thick matter pump (44), while the pressure side of the thick matter pump (44) is connected to an extendable conveyor line (56) for the spoil.

  • Patent number: 5209649
Abstract: A two cylinder thick matter pump has two hydraulic drive cylinders, two pistons supported and driven within each respective drive cylinder, and two feed cylinders. Each feed cylinder is adapted to receive a respective piston therein to pump the matter therethrough. A hydro-pump is coupled to the drive cylinders to supply hydraulic fluid thereto. A reversing valve is coupled to the hydro-pump to reverse the direction thereof. Two pressure switching valves are coupled to one of the drive cylinders and to the reversing valve to actuate the reversing valve upon a change in cylinder pressure. Two electronic proximity switches are supported adjacent to the pistons and coupled to the reversing valve. The proximity switches actuate the reversing valve in parallel with the switching valves.

  • Patent number: 5190449
Abstract: A material-feeding container is disclosed for two-cylinder thick-matter pumps having feeding cylinders that open into the container. Inside the container is arranged a switchable guide-tube linked to the feeding line and alternatively movable between the openings of the feeding cylinders. A cleaning and servicing opening that can be closed with a cap provided with an agitator is arranged in each side wall. When the closing cap hinged on the material-feeding container is opened, the agitator pivots out of the container through the servicing opening, making the switchable guide-tube and its wearing parts freely accessible from the outside.
