  • Patent number: 8895878
Abstract: In order, in the case of a cable feedthrough comprising a cable fixing unit with a fixing housing which is provided with a cable fixing member and a holding section as well as a shield contact element making contact with a cable shield of a cable guided through the cable feedthrough, to configure the cable fixing unit as simply and inexpensively as possible, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, to provide an electrically conductive connection between the cable shield and a wall section bearing the cable feedthrough which is as good as possible it is suggested that the cable feedthrough have a mounting unit which can be connected to a wall section of an appliance, that the mounting unit be connectable or connected to the cable fixing unit in a form locking manner and that the mounting unit be designed such that it provides an electrically conductive connection between the shield contact element and the wall section.

  • Patent number: 8841562
Abstract: In order to improve a cable feedthrough comprising a housing connection piece, a cable fixing device provided on the housing connection piece, a fastening section which is provided in the housing connection piece and with which the housing connection piece can be secured to a wall section of an appliance, and a shield contact element which makes contact with a cable shield of a cable guided through the cable feedthrough, in such a manner that it is possible for the shield contact element to make reliable contact with the wall section, it is suggested that the shield contact element be fixable to the fastening section with a holding element and that the shield contact element make contact with the cable shield or with the wall section of the appliance with at least one housing contact element which is designed to dig into the wall section.

  • Patent number: 7563993
Abstract: In order to improve an insert for an opening in a wall area of an appliance comprising a housing socket, an assembly device provided on the housing socket, with an assembly section which can be guided through the opening in the wall area and has snap elements which engage behind an edge of the opening as well as with a pressure ring which is arranged on the housing socket at a distance from the snap elements and can be adjusted in the direction of the snap elements by means of an advancing guide as a result of a rotary movement about the central axis, in such a manner that a secure assembly of the housing socket is possible, it is suggested that the pressure ring be rotatable in a first direction of rotation in order to secure the housing socket and that the housing socket be adapted to be fixed against any co-rotation in the first direction of rotation by means of a holding section element.

  • Patent number: 7411128
Abstract: A cable feed-through with an elastic sealing element having at least one cable feed-through channel is provided. The elastic sealing element is assembled from two sealing element parts separated by a dividing surface and has a feed-through member which comprises the at least one cable feed-through channel and inner sealing surfaces which can abut sealingly on at least one cable sheath. At least one holding element is provided, with which the two sealing element parts can be acted upon in such a manner that the inner sealing surfaces abut sealingly on the cable sheath and the sealing element parts abut sealingly on one another with their contact surfaces respectively bordering on the dividing surface.

  • Patent number: 5942730
Abstract: A threaded cable joint for a cable having a cable shield enclosing an internal conductor region. The cable joint, which may be connected to a housing, has a connection piece and an outer pressure element. The outer pressure element is screw-connected to the connection piece, and acts on a seal to cause the seal to abut against the cable as the cable passes through the threaded cable joint. A number of shield contact elements are arranged within the connection piece, and in electrical contact with the connection piece. The shield contact elements include conductive contact bows that extend in the direction of the passed-through cable for contacting the cable shield at a first contact point, thus forming a direct electrical connection between the cable shield and the connection piece.
