The lighting device is mountable on a wall or the like, and a gap which forcibly results from design, which provides an unesthetic view to a beholder, and which is formed between the lighting device and an adjacent wall has to be covered in a decorative manner.

Abstract: In a signal lamp, in particular, for automotive vehicles, comprising a casing, a light source arranged in the casing, a reflector, a closure plate and an optical plate provided between the light source and the closure plate and comprising convex areas at the side thereof facing the light source and concave areas on the side thereof facing away from the light source between which are provided light-impermeable areas on the surface, a homogeneous light distribution is obtained in that the side of the closure plate facing the light source comprises concave recesses.

Abstract: A signal lamp for an automotive vehicle is disclosed including a housing having at least two individual signal compartments each including a light source and a common glass cover having a predetermined color. A colorless carrier disc having black opaque stripes on one side of the carrier disc and lens elements on an opposite side spans both compartments. A red color filter spans one compartment between the carrier disc and the one compartment lamp and an unsaturated light filter of a color different from the color of the glass cover spans the other compartment between the carrier disc and the other lamp. In the off condition of both lamps, the signal lamp color is determined by the color of the glass cover. The red filter produces a red signal when the one lamp is on.

Abstract: A vehicle light including several incandescent lamps which are inserted in sockets of plastic lamp holder by means of the lamp base or cap which forms the connection for the incandescent lamp. A lug is punched from a thin sheet metal billet in one piece with a lead for the respective incandescent lamp and is bent towards the bottom of the socket and squeezed between the base or cap and the socket by a spring.
