  • Patent number: 7017437
Abstract: In a ball screw drive comprising a spindle (1), a nut (3) surrounding the spindle (1), and balls (4) arranged between the spindle (1) and the nut (3), which balls (4) are in rolling contact with a screw track (2) formed on the spindle (1) and on corresponding screw tracks (7, 12) formed on rings arranged within the nut (3) comprises a deflecting region for returning the balls (4) from a run-out end of a common turn of the screw tracks (2, 7, 12) to a run-in end of this turn, the screw tracks (7, 12) of the rings arranged in the nut (3, 15) are made on front faces of these rings with the screw tracks (7, 12) of two adjacent rings defining together with the screw track (2) of the spindle (1, 18), an endless circulation channel for the balls (4).

  • Patent number: 6073309
Abstract: A door lock which is formed integrally with a motor vehicle door hinge and which includes a housing fixedly secured to the hinge pin or the one of the first and second hinge halves, a holding element having at least a partially curved running track concentric with a hinge pin axis and a plurality of detent points, a plurality of braking and locking members cooperating with the holding element for retaining a motor vehicle door in a predetermined braking and locking position, and formed as rolling bodies rotatable about respective support axles having their axes extending transverse to hinge pin axis, a carrier for supporting the braking and locking members, a spring for biasing the braking and locking members into engagement with the holding element, and an arrangement securing the holding element or the carrier to the housing without a possibility of rotation relative thereto and for axial displacement relative thereto.

  • Patent number: 6029314
Abstract: A door lock formed integrally with a motor vehicle door hinge and including a housing, a first bearing ring forming a holding element with a curved running track concentric with a pin axis and a plurality of detent points, a plurality of braking and locking members rotatable about respective axes extending transverse to a hinge pin axis, a spring for biasing the braking and locking members into engagement with the holding element, a second, flat-surface, bearing ring for engaging the bearing and locking members opposite the first bearing ring, and a cage for receiving the braking and locking members, with the cage and the first, holding element-forming, bearing ring being alternatively fixedly connectable with the hinge pin and the one of the first and second hinge halves without a possibility of rotation relatively to the hinge pin and the hinge half, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5988884
Abstract: A guide rail arrangement for connecting two relatively displaceable components comprising a lower rail (1) and an upper rail (2) supported thereon by rolling elements (3), said lower and upper rails being configured as rectilinear sheet metal profiles, one of the lower and upper rails partially surrounding the other of the lower and upper rails, whereby hollow spaces are formed for receiving the rolling elements (3) and further slide elements (4) arranged between the rails is characterized in that, in a central region of the arrangement, the two rails (1, 2) define a receiving space (5) for a spring and/or damping element, which receiving space (5) is adjoined by regions comprising the rolling elements and the slide elements (4) and extending in end regions of the rails (1, 2) which results in the creation of an arrangement with uniform load distribution on its components so that a deformation of the components and a pressing-in of the rolling elements is reliably prevented.
