Abstract: Disclosed are compounds of formula I, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, mono- or dialkylaminocarbonyl, benzimidazolonyl-5-aminocarbonyl or phenylaminocarbonyl, the phenyl radical of which is unsubstituted or substituted by up to 3 substituents selected from up to 3 from chlorine, bromine and methyl and up to 2 from cyano, nitro, methoxy, ethoxy and trifluoromethyl,R.sub.2 is hydrogen, halogen, alkoxy or nitro, andR.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are, independently, hydrogen, halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, mono- or dialkylaminocarbonyl, phenylaminocarbonyl, alkylcarbonylamino, alkoxycarbonylamino, benzoylamino or benzylcarbonylamino,Their production and use as pigments for plastics, paper, paints, varnishes, spin dyeing of cellulose acetate, textile coating and pigment printing.
