Abstract: A container for holding foods comprises a base member (1); a cover member (3) which is connected to the base member (1) by releasable locking engagement; a first recessed carrying handle (20) provided on a lower side of the base member (1); and a second recessed carrying handle (11) provided on an upper side of the cover member (3). To achieve a substantially flat support surface for both the base member (1) and the cover member (3), the first and second carrying handles (20, 11) are integrated with and recessed into the contour of the base member (1) and of the cover member (3), respectively, such that each of the base member (1) and the cover member (3) have substantially flat surface portions so that the container will rest stably on a flat support surface such as a table in both the upright and inverted positions of the container.

Abstract: To increase the versatility of a household food grater, in which grating inserts can be inserted into a plate-like body formed with an opening, a slicing insert is provided, fitting into the opening. The slicing insert has a frame and a guide path (10) hinged to the frame, and moveable with respect thereto. The frame also carries a knife blade (14). A lever (15) projecting laterally from the frame, adjusts the position of a cutting gap between the knife (14) and the guide path (10) to control the thickness of slices being made, the lever engaging a camming surface of the guide path from beneath the surface on which food is being fed to the knife blade. Adjustment is by interengaging teeth and saw tooth-like depressions, for step-wise adjustment.

Abstract: A tool handle (3) in which a handle part (5) is made from a material with a Shore hardness of at least 70 and a thumb and/or finger rests (6, 8) which is integral with the handle part (5) is made from a material having a Shore hardness of no more than 60. The thumb and/or finger rests (6, 8) are molecularly bonded, or integrated into the handle part (5) by a two-component molding process.

Abstract: A mop and mop-squeeze combination has a handle (1), a mop head (4) and a wringer device (3) disposed behind the mop head (4), the wringer device comprising a box-like sheath (14), a squeeze roller (23) supported in oblique guides (22) and traveling from the outside inward, and opposed guide rollers (20). The wet mop cloth is wrung out by being pulled into the sheath.
