  • Patent number: 4399908
Abstract: Structural elements are disclosed for assembly into supporting frames for conveyors and which include elongate beams of constant, uniform generally sigma-shaped cross section but having one arm substantially shorter than the other. Elements for use in connecting such means and mounting other members thereon are disclosed, including chain guides which are adapted for fitting within the sigma section beams and are adapted to enclose corresponding chain sprockets.

  • Patent number: 4256222
Abstract: A transfer conveyor, for the transfer of piece goods from a first roller track conveyor to a second roller track conveyor, is disclosed which comprises a fixed base and a first frame carrying rollers rotatably mounted on the first frame and engaging inclined ramps fixed on the base. The first frame carries two endless conveying chains extending in parallel vertical planes spaced apart in the conveying direction of the roller track conveyors, said chains having horizontal upper runs which in a lowered position of the first frame lie below the conveying plane of the roller track conveyors and in a raised position of the first frame are above that conveying plane so that articles can be transferred, in a transverse direction from the first to the second roller track conveyor. The first frame is raised and lowered by drawing the frame longitudinally so that the rollers run up and down the ramps.

  • Patent number: 4232774
Abstract: A set of components for producing load-bearing scaffolds comprising profile bars and connecting bars each having an approximately .SIGMA.-shaped cross-section with a flat center web section. The connecting bars fit slidably in the profile bars to which they are attached by connecting means through perforations in each of the center web sections. The profile bars also have an inwardly angled free arm extending parallel to the center web section and having perforations to provide for connection of further components to the profile bars. Further components adapted for use with the above profile bars comprise fixing angles, packing pieces, cross-member brackets, reducing elements, bearing hole plates, angle elements and belt guide plates.

  • Patent number: 4222461
Abstract: A conveying device, particularly suited for lifting purposes comprises a load holding carriage mounted within a hollow column for longitudinal reciprocating movement in the column, the carriage having load holding arms which project transversely from the column through a longitudinal slot in the wall of the column. The carriage has rollers which engage the walls of the column internally to guide the same and a traction chain which is guided around reversing pulleys at the two ends of the column is accommodated within the column, has its opposite ends attached to opposite ends of the carriage to form, with the carriage, an endless loop the run of which not containing the carriage passes the same within the column.

  • Patent number: 4200178
Abstract: A transfer conveyor for transferring goods from one conveyor to another comprises two pairs of similar conveyor chains each chain being guided around a closed path, including a top run extending from one conveyor to the other, by guide means including reversing pulleys at the opposite ends of the top run. The top runs of all of the chains are preferably of the same length, parallel and substantially co-planar with the other top runs, lying just below the conveying planes of the two conveyors between which transfer is to be made. The chains are driven in synchronism and a set of lifting elements includes a pair of lifting elements secured to each chain so that during circulation of the chains, all of the lifting elements of the set rise above or fall below the conveying plane at the same time by passing around the respective reversing pulleys at the same time, to lift an article on one conveyor, transfer it laterally to above the other conveyor and lower it on to the same.
