    Abstract: Transmission data are transmitted via a radio interface between an analog telephone link and a user apparatus. A base station for a cordless telephone that is connected to the telephone link has a converter that converts the analog signals into digital signals and vice versa. The digital signals are transmitted, in particular according to the DECT standard, via a radio interface between the base station and a mobile station. In the mobile station, the digital signals are decoded, and thus the transmission data are acquired, and vice versa.
