  • Patent number: 4982928
Abstract: A water outlet fitting has a housing that includes first and second housing portions with a water outlet passage opening to the water inlet passage at an angle with a sound damper insert extended into part of the outlet passage in the first housing portion. The insert includes a sealing member removable clamped between the housing portions and is connected through a filter to a base located in the closed terminal end portion of the outlet passage axially opposite the opening of the inlet passage to the outlet passage from the sealing member. A generally conical, resilient body has its axially lower end mounted to the base and surround by the filter to form a generally conical air cushion opening to the closed terminal end of the outlet passage and be removable from the outlet passage with the removal of the sealing element.

  • Patent number: 4901916
Abstract: A thermostatic mixing valve has a connection housing and an attachment housing which are joined together at abutting surfaces. The connection housing has hot, cold and mixed water passages which mate with respective hot, cold, and mixed water passages in the attachment housing. The attachment housing further has valve means for controlling the temperature and quantity of the mixed water.

  • Patent number: 4863097
Abstract: This invention relates to a thermostatic mixing valve that includes a housing, temperature control valves in the housing that have axially spaced cold and warm water regulating bases and a valve element for cooperating with the above valve bases to reversely vary the flow of the cold water and warm water to the housing outlet port, and cold and warm water quantity setting valves upstream of the temperature regulating valves for controlling the quantity of the cold and warm water flow from the housing cold water and warm water supply ports to the cold and water regulating valves respectively. The quantity setting valves have axially spaced quantity setting valve bases and a common valve member axially movable relative to the quantity setting valve bases for controlling downstream flow from the supply ports, the pressure at the supply ports acting in the same axial direction against the common valve member.

  • Patent number: 4669653
Abstract: The invention relates to a thermostatic type of mixer tap having hot and cold water inlets and outlets for discharging water at an intermediate temperature controlled by a thermostatic valve unit. The mixer tap has a mixing chamber to which apportioned amounts of hot and cold water are admitted by the thermostatic valve unit and outlet valve for controlling the flow from the mixing chamber to the outlet. For drinking purposes there is provided a bypass conduit which extends from the cold water inlet to the outlet valve which bypasses the mixing chamber. The outlet valve is operable to selectively connect either the mixing chamber or the bypass conduit to the outlet as desired.
