  • Patent number: 4805976
Abstract: The fiber end which is developed as the situs of coupling to incident laser radiation is inserted into a transparent capillary (14) and beveled in order to mask reflections out of the direction of the optical axis. The capillary is roughened on the outside and is surrounded by a light-absorbing layer (15) which acts as a light trap, to eliminate such disturbing stray light as may be coupled into the fiber alongside the core (11).

  • Patent number: 4770288
Abstract: A belt-type bucket elevator in which each bucket is connected to the belt by two movable fastenings arranged one behind the other in conveying direction. Each bucket is divided into front and rear bucket portions along a dividing plane extending between the fastening joints perpendicularly or approximately perpendicularly to the plane of the belt. The two bucket portions are connected to each other by connecting joints mounted coaxially on the side walls of the two bucket portions.

  • Patent number: 4261678
Abstract: An unloading device for equipment such as ships, bunkers, storage yards or the like comprises an elevator which has a substantially vertical supporting structure with a lower pickup end and an upper delivery end and a conveyor mounted on the structure with an elevator section for conveying material substantially vertical along the support structure. The lower end of the support structure engages into a rotatable bucket wheel which is mounted on a supporting structure. The bucket wheel is mounted in an inclined position relative to the supporting structure preferably at an angle of 45.degree. to the vertical axis of the supporting structure.

  • Patent number: 4094419
Abstract: A handling plant for dumping and discharging bulk material into or from a pile, comprises a loading bridge which is adapted to span or be moved over the pile, and which includes an upper beam having a first trackway and a lower beam having a second trackway which extends longitudinally of the bridge and which are adapted to span the storage space or pile. The dumping gear includes a first trolley which is movable along the first trackway and has a conveyor system for receiving the bulk material and for transferring it to each side of the bridge and for dumping it downwardly into a discharge tube. A removing gear which comprises a second trolley which is movable along the second trackway has a vertically extending conveyor with pickup elements, such as, buckets or similar means, to pick up the bulk material vertically and to transfer it to a bridge conveyor which extends longitudinally along the trackway.
