  • Patent number: 5161572
Abstract: A pressure valve, which is installed in the delivery line leading from a fuel injection pump to a fuel injection valve, and which has a valve closing member opening in the direction of delivery, which is provided with a return collar. To achieve uniform injection, particularly a uniform curve of injection at a given load plotted against the speed, the opening rate of the connecting cross-section at the valve closing member is controlled by the guide part being provided immediately adjacent to the return collar, which guide part has three excisions at its circumference. These excisions are bounded by a flow channel guiding the valve closing member and have a defined flow cross-section of equal size, which in total is of the order of magnitude of the cross-section of the delivery line.

  • Patent number: 5054595
Abstract: A locking synchronizer for transmission shifts, has a sliding sleeve carrier and a gear revolving at different speeds of rotation coupled together upon attaining synchronism via an axially slidable, annular sliding sleeve. A coupling tooth array of the sliding sleeve engages a corresponding spur gearing of the sliding sleeve carrier as well as a coupling tooth array of the gear, with engagement pins positioned between the sliding sleeve carrier and sliding sleeve. Portions of the gear form with portions of the synchronizing ring a coupling capable of transmitting force and with locking teeth on the synchronizing ring for the temporary prevention of the axial movement of the sliding sleeve, whereby the preventive action is cancelled even during existing difference in speed of rotation as a function of the warming on the synchronizing ring or a defined unlocking force which acts transversely to the motion of the sliding sleeve on the locking teeth of the synchronizing ring.

  • Patent number: 4964505
Abstract: A locking synchronizer for transmission shifts, has a sliding sleeve carrier and a gear revolving at a different speeds of rotation coupled together upon attaining synchronism by means of an axially slidable, annular sliding sleeve. A coupling tooth array of the sliding sleeve (11) engages a corresponding spur gearing (11) of the sliding sleeve carrier (21) as well as a coupling tooth array (21) of the gear, with engagement pins positioned between the sliding sleeve carrier and sliding sleeve 3. Portions of the gear form with portions of the synchronizing ring a coupling capable of transmitting force and with locking teeth on the synchronizing ring for the temporary prevention of the axial movement of the sliding sleeve, whereby the preventive action is cancelled even during existing defference in speed of rotation as a function of the warming on the synchronizing ring or a defined unlocking force which acts transversely to the motion of the sliding sleeve on the locking teeth of the synchronizing ring.

  • Patent number: 3931486
Abstract: A hand-held pendant control for remotely mounted hoists has a human engineered control handle portion and a body portion within which various hoist switches are compactly mounted and actuated by a main actuator on the handle portion. The pendant handle is formed to conform to a hand of the hoist operator and has the main actuator, a single rocker member, recess mounted in the handle to be activated by the thumb of the hand holding the handle. The body portion of the pendant has a series of adjoining micro-switches mounted on a mounting plate which is retained between a pair of end formed slots within the body portion of the pendant. A shaft having a series of stepped sections is connected to the main actuator to be rotated thereby with the stepped portions actuating various of the micro-switches at various rotation positions.
