    Abstract: In a method for manufacturing plastic frames for eyeglasses a plastic blank is provided with formed portions in the area where protruding parts of the finished plastic frame are located. Preferably, these formed portions are injection molded onto the plastic blank. By providing these formed portions to the plastic blank, the number of commonly required cutting steps are reduced.
